Cool Huds, Can I get them?

Ok, atm my hud is DULL. Its just stuff there. I have no idea how to customize it. In the Official Trailer movie it had the most sexy hud. Can anyone tell me how to set it up like that?

You're looking at old footage. Alot of that was taken pre-exclusive Beta. Sry, no customizable huds atm.

I remember when MaximumPC did a story on the 5 new games for the coming years. This was back in 2000 or so. Planetside was originally supposed to be a money driven MMOFPS and, instead of empires, we were all supposed to be a part of some multi-corporate conglomeration. They had the Harasser in the pic as well as a Vanguard.

They also reviewed games such as SWG and Middle-Earth MMORPG's.

yea they had a preview in PC Gamer when they had like apartments nad mission generators. Completly different game now doesnt even resemble the old SS or story... I wonder what it could have been like with an economy

Yea they removed the economy because it wasnt fun.. you would have people running around with uber weapons and some poor sap could not afford a pistol and keeps getting trashed. It would have sucked IMO. :p

This is the reason they completly closed the doors on PS for years, so people would not hear about things that were never included. December of 2002 was the first time people even got to play the game. Or see it since the doors were locked.
