Lodestar... Your predictions?

What are your predictions for the Lodestar after the dev interview? Smokejumper said that the lodestar "isn't just for carrying vehicles anymore", alluding to another, new feature. Anybody care to field a guess as to what this new capacity will be?

I'm thinking Moble repair, but to be honest, that comment blew my mind and I really have no idea.

The implication of air-to-air missles or even a fighter, depending on how far you read into his comment was also pretty unexpected.

It might have another feature? My guess (and it is a Guess) would be mobile Vehicle Repair. Just park it in The Lodestar and it repairs on it's own.

Now, I do believe that it should be bundled with the Gal. That would rock.

I'm thinking they're gonna strap a few flak cannons on it, or some other AA weapons. Mobile repair seems to obvious.

WAIT! I have it, it will have the ability to transport you to those space stations in orbit, and have free porn on board. (As we all know, the NC keep their stash of porn on Cyssor, Ekera - thats why they fight for it so hard. So the loadstar will breath new life into planetside as the NC try to claim all the porn for themselves!)

Im guessing extra max holding or interchanging max vehicle carrying(1 tank or 2 maxs) So there not left out. :brow:

And maybe some other small thing like a cool new air defense. like a flak gun or a guided missle and an system to defend against them like on real fighters(things that fly out your plane and try to make the missles sensors lock on htem instead). But they only put the protection thing on this now and guided missles on a future plane or will patch the reaver for it with the loadstarts release.

Its whole big new Air patch thing! :D

I agree gerbil, but probably only those vehicles that don't require a tech plant.

I also think that becasue of it's size (or imagined size) you will only be able to get it in the sanctuary.

I would make it a 4 point cert and bundle it with the gal.
