Well? Most of mine involve either ancient/mythical times, or a space future MMORPGish have your own spaceship thing goes. I like my writing open ended. I dont want to be hindered by "well they cant do this in this time period".
Mine are mainly action/adventure but with an anime/love twist.
How do you write?
*anti-writers or people bent on dissing writing can get the fuck outta this thread. IC: DONT TROLL

Writing sucks. I normally write bad stories I just throw together and don't care about for English

My prose is primarily emotional stuff. One of the big ones I'm working on is a way of looking at how I dealt with my father's death. My other ones are mostly tragic romances and supernatural (involving vampires).

Lame.. Romance is for women... wait... uhh yeah! I like to write Either D&Dish stories, or epics in the future, with huge battles, always. Even short stories.

Erotic literature.
I wrote some decent shit my sophomore year of highschool. I like to show it to girlfriends. Gets em all hot and bothered. ;)

Novels inspired by movies I've watched (Godfather), games I've played (Fallout), books I've read (Amy Tan). I'm currently writing a book about a patient who was exposed to severe radiation but miraculously survives. Not much written yet, wrote about 10 pages methinks, I usually write when I get inspiration from what somebody says or does.

I love writing about any type of world that I can create. I love to mix in a moral with the story - or maybe not necessarily a moral as much as a lesson.
I prefer to use medieval settings, or the fantasy genre. I do like also to write about the games I may currently be involved with, and if I do write about those games, the story will always include my Dragon Wolves.
I love to write because I am the one who decides who will be the hero, who will be rescued and what color the armor is or what design will be on the starship's banner :)

As some people in the fanfiction area know, I usually write about battles with lots of blood and guts. :D

Yes, I wrote tons more fanfiction simply because the characters are already developed. But I take pride in my original works more.
Most of my fanfiction involves anime, but many I wrote a BF 1942 one and a few other game ones. Most of my stories are about 10k words long.. give or take a few k.

Usually something from a video game, just "behind the scenes" of the game. (I got 1 story in Fan Fic.)
Other than that, war....war with some love....

I like to write stuff sorta about modern military but in the near future...
I'm writing a story now about soldiers battling an "unspecified" communist army in the communist conquered NYC (and believe it or not my main char. is Russian and fighting for the US) IT follows the forementioned main char. and a group of other snipers through their battles etc.

If all goes according to plan I never have to write a stories but otherwise I throw something together that usually is really symobolic and has some kind of deep political message that is easy enough for the teacher to pick up on and she is like OMG JOO ARE THE SMART! and i am like WOOT

I can write poetry, but I have much more fun writing stories. MUCH more fun. I don't know why, but I feel constricted when writing poetry.

Poetry is like a breath of fresh air to me. I write poetry (when I do have time to write) much better than I can write actual stories. It's weird explaining how I write poetry. An idea comes in my head, I choose to write something here or there, and within a week I have found time to sit and write out a poem. Either that or it just comes to me like a baseball bat over the head and I have to write it down right away.
