Ancient Sentry Turrets will be given Empire-specific skins, so players can more easily see who controls a given turret from a distance.

I had an idea when i read this that may be more intersting.

Instead of changing there color implement a messege into that game that tell you something like:

An allie has received XX# greif points

When ever htey hit you and receive greif. And a flashing red circle with a line through it and a big Orange capital G in it over there heads, that can stil be seen form the max distance as atleast a Decent sized flashing red dot(it would continue to flash for a while after they hit you). Then when you get hit by an allie you can just look(scan) to see who it was and maybe keep some suspense in figuring out if there enemy or not and allow you to know immediatly when they hit you whether its an allie or not. It could be used above ground too and i think would make a cool visual tool that would allow you to figure who to go after and still leave some skill involved in that part of the game.

When I see an enemy in an AT turret I'll have a better frame of reference. All my trips to the caverns are usually pretty lonely.

Doesnt changing there color take away to much of the skill of hte game though?

Isnt that part of the fun of using weapons based around different ranges. And isnt the suspense of who has them integral to the design of the close quarters fighting the caverns were designed around..

im saying this under the hope theyll make the caverns so more people will be in htem regularly so youll be running in to them.
