Philly is winning but I pick Tampa Bay and the Raiders to win today.
(I am routing for Tenesee and Philly tho)

If Philly is in the Super Bowl, I will be sick.

The bucs must go down in a fiery blaze of shame and they should drag that shithole town down to hell with em. (I'm a Saints fan :P)

I think Tampa Bay versus Oakland will make for a very very good Superbowl.

For the superbowl they should just stick Al Davis and Jon Gruden in a cage match....my money's on Al, you know he's got a deal with the devil to keep him alive....

I don't know if I have ever been more indifferent toward 2 teams in the Super Bowl. I have nothing to cheer for in this game, because I don't hate or like either of these teams. Guess I'll just have to hope for a good game

Maybe not this year, but the Cowboys will have their comback.

Speaking of comebacks and the Cowboys....I hear ol' Troy might be taking the snaps next year....

Troy Akiman was the biggest surprise of the football season. Who would have thought that once the concussions healed he would turn out to be a decent anouncer and not the inbread stupid hillbilly we all thought he was.
He should stay where he is before he ends up like Ali from all the blows to the head.

not the inbread stupid hillbilly we all thought he was.
It's not everyday you hear someone born in the suburbs of Los Angeles called an "inbread stupid hillbilly."
Anyway, I seriously doubt he will ever comeback. Parcells doesn't seem to have alot of interest in having him back, fortunately. And if you consider how poorly the Cowboys O-line played this season, he would be lucky to last one game.

I never knew he was related to Jethro and Ellie may, but it does answer a lot of questions.

Aikman can stay in the booth, but down with Collinsworth!! I can't stand that moron, he couldn't make the right call on a play if it gave him it's phone number...yeah....phone number..... :drools:

God talk about an intense game(Raiders/Titans) when you have cash on the Raiders and the spread is -9. Half time was a sweat time thank god Gannon got his game on again. (I was praying to him during halftime, guess he heard me, or he really likes California)(Praying to God not Gannon that is)
(The spread if you never been to a sportsbook means the Raiders had -9. Meaning they had to win by 10 points to win the bet. Vice Versa the Titans could of lost the game by 8 points and if you bet them with the spread of +8 you still would of won yer bet)(if the Raiders won by 9 you just get your money back its considered a tie, in this situation)

How can you hate Colinsworth, he is my favorite football commentator. He provides awesome analysis. How can you call him a moron. On HBO's inside the NFL he is in the lead for most correct picks, ahead of both Cris Carter and Dan Marino. (He is 170-93, that is pretty damn good for picking winners.)
I am not particularly fond of Aikman tho.
My three least favorites are Bob Costas, Bryant Gumble, and Pat Summerall (he need to retire already).

How you know when you are getting old?
When you have routed for the commentators when they were players. :(
The second way you know you are getting old:
When there are people playing professional football that are younger than you. :tear:

I dislike the raiders from way back.... and I HATE Warren "I don't know when to shut my trap" Sapp. I will root for the raiders b/c one of my best friends passed from this world and he was a raiders fan.
This super bowl isn't the worst to happen but it isn't the best either (Barring that you are a Bucs or raider fan). The main redeeming quality in my estimation is Gruden vs. the Raiders.
As far as concussions go.... I had 9 in my illustrious football career and i'm VERY lucky to be alive and coherent. Aikman needs to stay in the booth... he is a good man and a great player but his time as passed much like Jordan in the NBA. As far as Bill Parcels.... Suffice to say he has the test of his career.... Part of me wants to see him succeed while the other wants to see him fail b/c of the mere arrogance I percieve from ppl like him (players and coaches alike) that thinkl they can single handedly save a team b/c i'm they so great. Just my 2 cents :)
