Thank goodness they are fixing the AMS catapult bug. It always sucks spawning at an AMS you are hurrdled out of the tube at like 100 mph and hit a tree... splat. That happened to me 3 times in a row the other night... frustrating.

What is the speedstep detection fix?

* Spitfire Turrets will no longer fire sideways.

Huh? What does that mean exactly? They can only shoot at aircraft?

Nice, sounds like they are going to clean a lot of those irritating bugs out of the house.

* Players will no longer be propelled out of AMS spawn tubes at high velocity

I dont know why, but the way they phrased that made me chuckle.

Haven't you seen the spitfires that appear to be shooting at something but the bullets take a 90 degree turn as they are fired? I don't know if its a grafix thing or if there was a hit detection bug as well?

That "bug" will always be a "feature" to me. :)

It's interesting that the reload exploit is being addressed so quickly after cHaM's campaign. Makes you wonder if it was already slated or if it made the list partly because of him.

I still don't see my getting out of an AMS and ending up on the other side of the cont. bug.

I haven't had that happen. I have been shot out into nearby objects and been left with 15 health though.

Those are a major part of a cloaking combat eng's weaponry and to plant one just to have it swing around and smack u square in the face just sucks.

How is this cham guy everyone speaks of? They make it sound like he led a crusade against the PS staff and failed.

Makes you wonder if it was already slated or if it made the list partly because of him.Since so many other well publisized problems are being addressed here, I think this shows the dev team is well aware of these problems and have been and will continue to be worked on.
Bugs are likely caused by tiny mistakes but can apprear hundreds to thousands of places in the code. Fixing one bug iincreases the chances of introducing other problems as well. If the programmers ask for patch, they're going to want to fix as many probs as possible and make sure they work without breaking something else.
Seeing a list like this shows they have been looking at and working on these problems - with or without the community sensationalizm.

I don't know. We were told once the retention items and cc were out that they planned to do these kinds of patches. Some of these bugs go back to beta for pete's sake - you think they just started to look at this in the last week or so? I think this is something they planned anyway for around this time.

Spitfire Turrets will no longer fire sideways.
I will believe it when I see it.

About time the macro/implant switching shit was fixed. That is really annoying, run into a fight, wait a minute, I have second wind, personal shield, melee booster?
