murphy's planetside laws

1) all plans never surive contact with the enamy so dont make any
2) a good CR5 can help win the day
3) a good CR5 is not loged on when you need him/her
4) all noob are not usless they make grate cannon foder
5) when all else fails throw more tanks at it
6) when all else fails throw more troops at it
7) when all else fails log out
8) you can never have too many AMSes around
9) when you need an ANT it wont get there in time
10) when you bring your own ANT so did every one else

2nd law of Planetside Medics : A soldier who requires health will run equally and proportionately away from you, ignoring all vspeaks to "Stop!"

3rd law of Planetside Medics : Upon enquiring if the MAX you are supporting has any spare med or repair juice, the answer equals, "Dude, why do I need them I'm a MAX, you n00b"

Speedhorn, I totally agree with all those laws, I have never asked a MAX for spare juice though, it is very efficient I bet too...I will have to ask outfit if we can start doing that.

Murphy's Laws spin-offs should follow the theme of "anything that can go wrong, will". Good examples:


1st law of Planetside Medics : Upon starting to rez a fallen soldier they will respawn immediately.

2nd law of Planetside Medics : A soldier who requires health will run equally and proportionately away from you, ignoring all vspeaks to "Stop!"

Wow, what arseholes O_o

I will add extra medical tool ammo to my max outfit. Anyone sees me on the battlefield and needs one, or armour repair stuff, let me know. I used to carry alot of medpacks for myself and other people, but the number of medics seems to be increasing so the space was better taken up with ammo.

The medic laws couldn't be anymore true, besides the thrid one only since i haven't asked that before. it is really annoying when you are constantly saying stop and they never stop.

Rule #4 pertaining to medics: If you yell, "Medic!" they will not come.

i'm sorry but it's true. i usually don't read the "Medic!" in the chat. i heal when there are people around me to heal. if there aren't, i go somewhere else.

Rule #5: if a battle is raging, it is quicker to respawn.

i do that all the time. if i see a infiltrator and he/she is just sitting there, i will walk by them like i never saw them, then turn around right before they decide to run away and knock them in the back.

...that is unless you're in my Outfit :)

Best thing a MAX can carry is two extra med juices and two extra repair juices. When you're defending, localspeak something like 'I have extra med and rep juice'. Works a treat.

You get to the generator, on a prescribed mission to destory it, and your one clip short to kill it. You're now behind enemy lines with no ammo, and everyone knows where you are due to "This facility's generator is under attack" spams from lasher fire.

Your only chance to complete your mission is to knife the next mofo that pops through that door.
The next mofo is a scatmax and your final words go along the lines of "son of a ..."

When getting an ANT for a base that is near empty, you will always fall into some small hole and either blow up or get stuck.

-->Whenever you go on an ant run, and you somehow manage to not fall in a huge hole, there are 50 people sitting at the NTU Silo with ants waiting to refill it...

I have a few. they are piggy backed with some others though.

The more you need a medic the fewer there are.

The moment you pull out your Medstick, is the moment they respawn.

Friendly ANT runs never get there on time, or get swamped with friendly ANTs. Enemy ANT runs are invisible and occure with out anyone knowing it.

The moment an Enemy tank starts to shoot you is the moment that friendly pedestrians run in front of you.

If you don't have hacking, you can never find a hacker.
If you do have hacking everyone else is advanced hacking.

When you need cover while you are hacking, they will start to hack the same terminal.

If the enemy with the HA weapon is waving at you, you aren't cloaked.

The only time you find enemy mines is when you are retreating for repairs.

If the unoccupied base you have a hack on has less then 30%, someone will bow up the tubes, the Gen and every turret.

The mine you hit on the bridge is the last one until you reach full speed.

You only find the big mine fields moments after you used your EMP blast.

Yeah, No SHIT. And you can substitute Hossin for Forseral/Ishundar/Cyssor.
