Just wondering whos everyone's hero is. Mine would probably be Major Richard D. Winters from Band of Brothers (good book) or Patton

Hmm hamma as raised a point... I admire Sun Tzu for his tactical mind but I don't consider him my hero...

Hero's are for people who can't live up to their own dreams and live them throught some sort of avatar that they claim their own...

I think it's good to have a hero. Not to the point where u emulate their every move, but someone who u can think of when u run into a trouble spot or trying to make a decision. I can't really name a specific hero other than my dad probably, but i guess it would be any soldier that took part in D-day or other battles in any war where the odds were against them or they faced huge casualties.
ah forgot, Lance Armstrong is a hero to me. He overcame cancer and has won the tour de france 5 times- an incredible feat

I look at it in two aspects. I have the temporal hero column and the spiritual hero column.

Temporal Hero: Major Richard Winters or that unnamed NCO on the beaches of Normandy (Omaha) who stood up and said "Follow me" with his actions.

Spiritual Hero: Jesus Christ. I have yet to read any wisdom liturature that outdoes His. (*Disclaimer Yes, yes, I know. Religion is supposed to be taboo, but I am simply offering my opinion of my hero, not trying to push a religion.)

When I find someone worthy of being considered a hero, I'll let you know.

P.S. Biohazard, there is a neat command you can use to make text smaller (*hint*yoursig*hint*).

Mentioning Jesus, did you guys know that his divinity was actually the result of a actually very close vote by the Constantine empire, who was forcing christianity upon its people to try and unify their kingdom? They needed a figure that the followers could identify the religion with.
