Favorite weapon in infil suit?

So what is your fav to use when you are a infil ?

Mine is the plasma grenade cause when u throw it and it explodes everyone runs around like a headless chicken

Beamer. Very Precise and gives me a good chance against light vehicles if I can find a nest or ridge where they can't see me.

It depends. For quick takedowns I use the AMP or one of my NC scatter pistols that fill my locker. If I want to make a statement, like "You suck", then I use my chainblade.

On occasion I use plasma grenades, since two can knock reinforced armor out, and on occasion I use Boomers when I want to make a different statement - one that says "BOOM!"

the AMP, no doubt. if you fire only one shot, it ALWAYS fires on the upper-right dot in the crosshair. ill bet money on it.

Seriously. Every other knife you need a halfway decent bass driver to hear. TR's is just like beating a cat with a brick thats on fire.

Anyhow.

When I was but a wee lil' NC cloaker, I had 4 boomers, a REK, and my knife. Knife = AI, boomers = AV.


5-6 kills a run in zergs. No one expects to be knifed in the back when theres HA users all around them.

Other Infiltrators dont have a snowballs chance in hell at killing you and the range is so good you can kill from outside DL range

Boomers. I remember i once snuck up behind 2 locked down TR MAXS (dual cycler and pounder) in a tower, had time to plant 2 boomers behind them, and jammer them. Was pretty cool :)

knife+melee booster is pretty usefull too, when you dont have room for a pistol (ie, 4 boomers+rek)

Scatter-pistol, purely based upon ammo consumption vs kill power vs detectability. An AMP kills faster, but goes through ammo like mad and is very loud and distinct.

NC scatter pistol for the same reasons. 1 pistol and 1 box of shells is enough to kill 12 enemies... 3 point blank range shots kill a Rexo Sniper. With the AMP and the same space taken you have only enough to kill 5-6 enemies. Plus, if you have to fight a Darklighter you have a much better chance than with the AMP... the AMP blooms too much.

The Knife + Melee Booster is fun too and takes 0 space and ammo, but does take out an implant slot.

Plasma Grenades are also fun and you can load yourself down with 10...

My typical set-up is a NC Scatter pistol, 1 box of AI shells, 1 REK tool, and 3 Jammer Grenades. This lets me either stalk the country side for enemy snipers and other Cloakers or I can stealth hack. Me implants are Darklight and either Melee Booster or Surge.

One thing I love to do against Rexo HA darklighters when defending a tower is...

I crouch at the top of a turn in the stairs and move back just far enough that I can see the Rexo coming. I then duck around the corner and turn Surge on. As he is about to reach the top I pop out and hit him point blank range with the scatter pistol and then haul ass back around the corner. I'll go to the mid or roof level, jump down, and run up behind him.

Usually, they consider the area behind them as "cleared" and don't really expect a ballsy flanking maneuver from a Cloaker. Getting those last 2 shots in is usually pretty easy at this point. Also, some of these guys will actually stop to heal/repair. Then you just own them with 2-3 quick shots. Oh, and yes, you will take the damage from falling... but it's much less that you'd take from getting smacked by a HA weapon.

I waw only and infil for a while, but i prefered boomers. And now when an infil starts firing on me whit any Gun while i'm sniping i just hit Personal shield and turn around and hit them wihtmy guass or bolt driver, while he/she is going "WTF is happening". Then they /t me and call me a cheater. The best way to get me would be an undetectable boomer, or 2 knife stabs.

most effective for me: amp or scatter pistol depending on the mood... imo the repeaters shit, very rairly do i lose a one on one to one of those

most satisfying: knife kills followed by a close boomer second

standard loadout: amp/scatterpistol (depending on the day) a boomer, a pack of amo, a rek, and a jammer nade for those pesky dl's or mines infront of doors

Most often I have an AMP. Boomers are by far the most satisfying, though.

Had a great run today with 4 boomers. We were at Itan pushing up to Gunuku. Heavy NC resistance with tons of vangaurds. We were fielding mostly infantry with a few magriders. I made it across the bridge and crouch-walked to the bunker. There was a sniper inside. Boomered him. Then I deployed a boomer by the door. Another guy came in (not sure if it was so he could snipe or to see what happened with the other guy). Fodder. I deploy another boomer at the door and an AA MAX comes by. I blew it up, and he went back out. I placed another one at the door. When he came back in, I nailed him. It was hilarious.

Beamer is annoying, i hit another infil like 10 times, he hits me twice with his amp and im dead
