One of the very first things we envisioned here at PlanetSide Universe, was a public outfit database. A means for people to get their outfits name some publicity. At long last, we have completed this sweet feature! And I must say it was worth the wait! powdahound has spent many hour slaving over code to create our vision and what we have is a very user friendly ODB (http://www.planetside-universe.com/odb/).
Once registered (http://planetside-universe.com/forums/register.php?s=&action=signup) on our forums, you can go here (http://planetside-universe.com/odb/admin/) to create an outfit. Simply fill out the form and it will be displayed on our ODB listing page, from there people can search the various teams and choose one to their liking. You can add your own logo to the team as well (you must have a host for this logo). You can also toggle the recruiting status of your team, and make changes on the fly! Please note that abuse of this feature will not be tolerated, we do have the ability to ban users from creating outfits at worst case.
