Hello,

I made a trailer for a movie I'd like to make. It's just something I did for fun with 2 or 3 people. Please let me know what you think:

Thanks,

Looks cool. You going to film the rest on the test server?

We will take some in-game actions from real battle, but important scenes will be staged on test server.

Thanks we could use the help.
I'm going to try and save my next movie as Windows Media. It just depends on whatever gives me the lowest file size w/ the highest quality. I emailed Mirr and asked him how he compressed his because he gets very good quality at a small file size.

btw try using the highest settings your computer can handle for the staged shots:thumbsup:

Edit: Is there a forum for the movie?

Yes, there is a forum for the "Black Hawk Studios". It's located @ http://bhhq.com/forums/

A planetside video series would be cool. Has anyone heard of Red vs. Blue? It's a series of Halo movies (each about 4 minuets long). It's really funny and planetside and halo fans should like it. Go to www.redvsblue.com and then video projects then Bloodgulch Chronicles. You can buy the DVD but you don't have to. Hope you like it.

Just be sure your staged shots are opposing teams. I noticed that was a NC skeeter chasing the NC infantry across the court yard.

Also, one hint.. if you use real dialog. Make it sound realistic. When ever possible use text that is in your normal vocabulary. It is often apparent when one attempts to use words outside of his or her normal vocabulary. They sound like its a script. Also, avoid using your 'cool voice' it never works. If you listen to any type of professional commuications(military, fire, police etc) over a radio it usually sounds like a normal speech pattern. This is why voice actors make a living doing commercials or why some people sound good on your local FM radio. Wow, all my public speaking and time on the stage is showing. I knew my time spent in Mexico with Mildred the Mule wasn't a waste.

But the videography looked great! Too bad its about the poor NC thats been brainwashed into think the TR are the badguys. NC soldiers die on the battle field while their commanders and politicians live the life of the Republic.

I'll look forward to the next piece!

The trailer seemed like an old war movie. Why worry about giving up your life in a world of no death? It seems like they're trying to make a Planetside movie by using a classic/dramma movie style. The filmage is good though

Yeah, that was an NC Reaver shooting NC Infantry. I just decided one day I wanted to give the trailer a go, so I grabbed 3 people for that's all I could find. The second trailer will be much better involving actual film scenes.
