If you die in the CC, you can sit there and still view everyone around you with the camera, giving the positions of your enemy away to your team mates on Team Speak. Should something be done?

No, because communicating with your squadmates is as simple as a third-party voice-chat system.
You should have full access to all communications while you're dead. It's your consciousness doing the talking, which resides within the matrix. Otherwise, your clones would have to go to kindergarten before they could rejoin the battle.

They should do nothing about it or should not even pay attention, teamspeak is not part of PS or SOE. And not everyone uses Teamspeak so that would just be a waste of megabytes.

You can talk while dead, just not while respawning..wouldent do anything.

When your respawning you can talk on outfit if its not a big battle. -IoS- actually does that quite often so we know if someone is inc the CC or spawn room or etc. I dont think SOE would stop a third party application thought.

This is not Counter-Strike or something where your enemy's exact location is really all that important

The reason you can still view your surroundings while your lying dead on the ground is so that you can notice a medic in your area and keep from hitting the respawn button.
That's my guess anyways.

Um, no. Its simple. Stop the death cam, or limit it's time to 20 seconds.

No, leave it. If your going to start hacking the CC you probably have one of the hacking certs or have called for a hacker so it really wouldnt matter
Ok seriously guys, aside from being able to tell your outfit buddies that there are 2 grunts in the CC, you are not helping that much. They still need to rush into the enclosed room and hopefully kill everyone in there. You can get a slight advantage in the case of a MAX camping out in the CC, so your squaddies can come in with their decimators out, but you could have told them that after being fragged by the MAX anyways. I don't think it's a big enough advantage to require any changes.

Speaking of teamspeak, you guys who use it... do you your voice activated or PTT. I've only recently started playing with it but it seems that voice activated would be a pain...even if you had the threshold set up. If you use push to talk, what key do you use?

Push to Talk for sure... Anyone that uses voice activated gets scolded in no time because of how annoying it is when every explosion sets off your voice activated mic.
I use the fourth button on my mouse, I do not see a way you could use a keyboard button and not handicap yourself.

I used Caps lock to talk. Used it for MOHAA, use it for any FPS. Easy to hit, and it doesn't really effect anything. Just that every so often people think your yelling at them.

well, i use my wheel mouse button for ptt. but as for the speaking over TS, they still allow you to type messages in squad and outfit before you push the respawn button.

WAY more people should be on voicechat. It's awesome.

I hate typing. But at least I can usually do it fast with few errors. But still, if all my allies where on voice chat, then the game would be so much easier. RW had made MOHAA tourneys, team matchs, and free for alls so much easier. Then we graduated to Team Speak 2, and we've used it ever since.
