You've all heard of it I'm sure, and you're thinking "A game released by the US government, talk about open brain-washing", sure, it probably says join the Army every 3 frames, but its a great game and its free.

If you have time (even if you don't) download it at AmericasArmy.com (http://www.AmericasArmy.com) (650 MB). Its a full-game, like off the shelf, its basically Counter-Strike with decent anti-cheats and more realism.

Its a pain in the dick to get started (basic training and all), but once you get it done, you get a variety of new toys, including AK-47u with mods, and M4A1 SOP MODS.

Try it, you'll like it, I'll post a few screenshots later on, I'm going to bed, night.

The game gets boring reeaaal fast, its too slow and the rounds are so long because when theres one person left on both side on a big map everyone has to wait for them to find eachother and kill one another. Good game for being free tho... But we actually do pay for it with tax.

I read that they're adding in vehicles and specialities beyond what we already have in the future, specs like Engineer, Intel, and a Comtech typed deal that can intercept enemy radio transmissions.

Owned this Rocket Luancher(RPG) OPFOR guy in SF Hospital. I was on the roof and sall his dumbass along the wall.

EE is fuckin easy just crawl the whole way and if u hear sumtin just stop for a couple of secs. I got it done in under about 10 mins i think. The only thing is i cant hit those 36 targets to get Advanced Markesmen. Closest i got was 35. :(

I'll do it for you if you want. Only tip I can really give you here is be sure the top of the iron sight is on target once you stop breathing and shoot with the keyboard... each time you click on your mouse you get a bit less aligned... Oh and reduce mouse sensitivy to 2.0 or 1.5. You won't move as much when moving the mouse... Just take your time you got a good 5-7 seconds till it comes down. Only use one bullet per target too... your chances of hitting with a second bullet a much much much lower.

If after all that you still fail I'm gonna have to help you with my sweet sweet love! :p.


Oh and Kaikou. I will play with you tonight at... hmm 4ish EST. Gonna go try hospital... althought my deaths braught me down to 9 honor :ugh:. Stupid new account.

I could never pass the Live Sky Jump. The one from the plane. Everytime I either landed outside the circle, or broke my leg, or made too much noise, or something, because I always failed. The tower jump was simple. I passed that on the first try. Same with the Sniper training. Sniping was easy for me.

Yep, its frustrating and boring at first, but if you stick with it, it gets pretty cool and fun. Cant wait till I can fly in my squad with mah very own black hawk :D

You have to crouch and walk around corners, you can't charge out guns blazing, I love the realism of it, and the health system, medics can't heal you, but only stop your bleeding, so it increases teamwork.

You start out in Green, then if you get hit once in say the leg, you bleed down to yellow, and if a medic doesn't get to you in time, you bleed into the red and you're pretty much fucked.

Well, you certainly get more than your money's worth IMO.

For the live airborne jump, it is a pain in the ass. If you check on the websites they have specific directions on how to pass it. IT is something like when you jump out of the plane, tug your parachute in this direction for approximately five seconds and then do this or that. I followed what they said and passed it within one or two tries after that.

The important thing to not break your leg is to be facing straight forward when you flare your parachute. You should also do it when you are just a few feet above the jeeps, approximately eight feet from the ground. That will break your fall without tearing the parachute.
