I'm not posting this on the news page just yet because of the hugeness of the recent annoucments :p

Regarding the Mosquito and Harasser:
We're going to offer "a la carte" breakout certifications for those two categories, just as we do with the "a la carte" options for the Uni-MAX.

Therefore, you'll be able to purchase Light Scout for 3 points, or if you prefer, you can purchase Harasser for 2 points instead. (The Lightning is only available as part of the Light Scout package since it used to be three points anyway.)

Also, you'll be able to purchase Air Cavalry for 4 points, or if you prefer, you can purchase Mosquito for 3 points instead. (The Reaver is only available as part of the Air Cavalary package since it used to be four points anyway.)

All other instances are improvements (you get more for your cert points), so that should take care of that. Any other comments?

OMG light scout cert is gonna own. I am REALLY glad they decided to do this. Statistic gatherings showed that there were some extremely underutilized vehicles. I think the reason for this was:

a)Tech plant limitation
b)why cert in a Thresher when you can spend the same points for a Magrider
c)Hart timer so low no one needs transports
d)Why get the Harasser when you can get an AMS/Router for the same points and so on and so on

Bravo Devs! Now things like tech plant limitation wont keep you out of wheels entirely if you only have enough points for 1 vehicle cert

Why would anyone want a Thresher? Because they are so freakin fun to drive. I was driving one the other night.. what a hoot. That thing can really can bob and weave. I was moving through the trees like a banshee!
I don't know what the weapon is like.. in combat. I don't think I've ever been killed by it. Though I've been run over by them a few times.

But its nice to see they are adding more flexibility to the cert grouping.

I actually have the Thresher cert for this exact reason. However the tech plant limitation (previously) was a REAL DRAG. The main gun really sucks and hitting any trooper almost makes you come to a complete stop. Forget about running over a MAX unless your at full speed. This vehicle isnt about anything but joyriding. However for most people, they would like to be able to kill stuff too :D

I'm a better gunner than driver anyways.
