Oh yeah...a couple other things:
a) The Assault Buggies will *not* require a tech plant soon. (Not sure of the scheduling, but the change is made for the next patch or so.)
b) The Buggy handling (for the wheeled buggies) has changed to improve their uphill acceleration, as well as to add a bit of ability to "catch air" when you go over a hilltop. Makes them a tad more fun to play.

KICKASS!
Tech plant limitation for the buggies sucked because for the same points and annoyance, you could just get the empire tanks instead. Very good change indeed!

Catch air? Ack. I've had mine explode after catching air. I hope the beef up the suspension.

You failed English didn't you?
On-Topic, I think it's about time they did this. Harassers are great for scouts, but are too much of a combat hazard. I personally like the Marauder and respect it's capabilities, and it's about time that SOMETHING with combat effectiveness was available regardless of a tech plant's availability.

Lightning is combat effective and doesn't require a tech plant, but that is all.
This is a great idea, I will get the buggy cert if those goes through.

What about the Sky Guard? I still can't believe that needs tech to purchase.

As a pilot I'm very glad that needs a Tech Plant, people don't know how good those Sky Guards actually are. I hope it stays that way.

They could at least make the flak boxes 75 instead of 50, it runs out of ammo so fast.
don't shoot and you won't run out of ammo. :heh:

I'm a pilot too, and I don't fear the SG. I fear the 3 mile MAX.

whoopee fucking do, not like anyone will actually use the marauder..... might see it 2 times a month now instead of once a quarter.
The enforcer on the other hand is quite good, suppose we'll see alott more of those now.
Tresher is decent, nothing to spectacular imo, might see it more.
Does anyone know if he meant only the empire buggies are losing their tech plant requirement, or the skyguard too?
SG pwn my reaver ass. Especially if the gunner is smart and waits for you to slow down and engage a target before opening up. If they do, you get no missile lock and are dead before you can even hit top speed again.

it would be even better if it had some sort of guidance. like heat seeking.
With the amount of damage those Enforcer missiles put out, targetting logic would make them ridiculously overpowered.

simple. make the missles less manuverable. i can't hit anything with 'em anyway. they are so fecking inaccurate, they either need a smaller cof, or heat tracking.
Or a gunner who knows how to lead his target. Decimator has no tracking, yet I get more kills with it than any other infantry weapon. And yes, I kill more MAXes than grunts when I'm on foot.
