Just wanted to know this as i plan to maybe have medium armour with some assault weapons plus an anti-vechle one.But i want to be able to use vechles...does the weight of your armour effect what vechles you can use or not?,i mean if i was in MAX armour will i be able to fly a reaver etc...?
Max armor cannot enter any vehicles at all. Hell those things can barely move their legs to walk, let alone bend enough to sit down. Thatd be funny tho... hehehe..... [cough]
About other armor, I dunno but I would suppose that if there was a shot through windshield or from a buggy(theyre "open" vehicles) I would assume that if would have the same impact on your health if you were OUT of the vehicle. Not sure tho.

Certain armors can enter certain vehicles. Agiles can go into anything and drive, shoot, fly it..whatever.

Well, I think for most piloting of air you'll need agile and tanks too. That's just speculation. We don't know much yet. Only that the Agile is the "vehicle" armor.
Max armor cannot enter any vehicles at all.
I believe both the Galaxy and the big APC (Sunderer?) have a couple 'slots' for MAX's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
As for what certain armors can operate, I'm thinking it's something like this:
Basic (newbie armor), Agile and Infiltration suits can enter any vehicle position.
Reinforced armor - Can make full use of the buggies, can operate the 20mm cannons on the Galaxy, and can fit into any 'basic infantry' passenger slot.
MAX armor - Can only be a passenger in the Galaxy and Sunderer (I think) that each have 2(?) slots specifically designed to carry the hulking mini-tank.
Again, this is just speculation on my part, so if someone has *real* info, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

We knwo the Galaxy has two slots, but for transport only. I donb't know if the APC has any but I don't think so.

Sputty: The Deliverer APC does not, but the Sunderer Heavy APC does, AFAIK.

How do you know? They haven't given out the exact numbers it can carry. It sould seem useless for it to carry MAXes on the ground....They can run.

MAX's are not huge immobile lumbering monsters that can barely walk and move their arms. Just look at the gamespot vids.

It's official. The Sunderer CAN carry MAXs. So can the Galaxy.
These are the only two vehicles that can at this time.
Thanks SmokeJumper. For me, Im going reinforced in a galaxy. I may have to jump out and do infantry, and its not like reinforced is hurting me in any way.

Why load MAX's into the sunderer.... protection? and i bet the sunderer is faster than the MAX's sprint.. *shrug*
Woot hi Dave!
Sputty, I think there's a little video clip floating around that shows a MAX unloading from a Sunderer. I cant quite remember where it is though

MAX's are not slow at all, from what I have seen they are fast, they can run alongside a Vanguard with ease. The VS MAX's look even faster and they can jump high.

Maybe, maybe not. I'd imagine that the sunderer is a whole heck of a lot TOUGHER than a MAX. Like orders of magnitude tougher. Silly-tough. Fergedaboudit-tough.
And one of the APC's is submersible, but I think that's the deliverer... not sure.
I'd also guess that the sunderer has the biggest trunk in the whole game. Maybe the galaxy, but my money's on the sunderer. Of course an AMS trumps them both, but that's not really the point.
Another reason to ride in a sunderer: It conceals your numbers. There could be 13 people in there, or 1... though you may be able to tell whether or not the turrets are manned even if they're not moving... so make that 13 or 3.
And another: Strenght in numbers. You don't deploy till you're right on top of your target, and then you all deploy at once. Teamwork and all that.

Thats what i said, load a MAX into a sunderer so the MAX is protected... The games biggest APC will sure as hell be more protected than a MAX hehe.

A possibly useful tactic when in large open spaces is to use a MAX for cover while doing things like switching weapons and reloading
