Soon, X-Box is going to come out with the next best RPG to Morrowind, Fable. It won the award for most promising game, and best website, and anything with Microsofts money behind it can't fail. Check it out at...

I just may have to buy another XboX for this game. I've waiting on it to come out for over a year. It should be revolutionary if they can do all they promise with it.

The site is very nice but it has no information on the game, just screenies.

Ummm Microsoft can fuck things up. Look at mechwarrior. Was great when activision had it, the second MS got it they removed most of the server variables and then made lasers the shitzit. THen the next version toned the lasers WAY down, too far if you ask me, and then make the gause tech really strong. The only good they did to the game was in-multiplayer mech labs.

Well the concept is quite simple... no matter how much money the put in the damn game it can never make up for poor production, artists and programmers.
Look at Planetside. It had alot of potential... much more then alot of RPG's. It had the money of EQ to back it up (alot). But poor production, false promises and bullshit features that were only introduced a couple of weeks ago made that same potential crumbled in the devs hands. That's not counting the server-issues.
Don't get me wrong... it may or may not be good. Considering it's out of a studio from microsoft I would say the latter. But then again I may be wrong.

but have u seen the in-game pics? They are sweet, ur Character ages with the game, as u play more it gets older, NPC's age, if u spend most of the time indoors or out at night, u become pale, ir tanned if out during day, seasons pass, u get permanent scars from injuries while fighting, ur reputaion builds as u play, the world is HUGE, wat more could u want, except MMORPg

I was a fan of morrowind, and right now im actually playing the expansion to it, im hoping fable has the same vastness and plot to it. And it would be cool if it had good combat on it, unlike morrowind.

Fable is gonna rock. It's one of the games on my "I can't wait for this to come out" list
Will it come out for PC? I refuse to buy an Xbox.

Huge RPG games like that better not have a story line, i hate being forced to follow a certain path in the game

:indeed:, I hate games that are restricted to a certain plot, and you can't roam around and explore parts of the game. Its also fun doing mini quests and picking fighs with just about everyone in rpg's

I heard that in Fable, if you become powerful, the kids in the village start dressing and acting like you and you become a local hero.
Yes, a must-have.
I bet it will blow the rather cumbersome Morrowind out of the water.

And its 2 player!
I hope they make a PC version.
I remember when I first heard about this game, it was known as: Project Ego.
