Whats your best sniper shot of all time?

This question was inspired by a shot I made last night. By pure luck (though I�ll still claim mad skillz) I landed the killing shot on a Galaxy and got 9 kills! :)

What�s your best shot OR the most amazing shot you�ve seen?

Best shot i've seen is a stealther runing across screen at full sprint with surge on. Now thats a good shot...not taking out a galaxy because someone else jacked it up before you shot at it.

Yeah, My best shots are moving hits. My luckiest shot was a vangaurd kill though.

I got lucky and killed a loaded Sunder once, but my best shot's have been times were an NC up front was in a fight with a TR/VS and he is goint to lose and i snipe the TR/vs and save him, this goes for cloakers to

My best ever was when I was trying to shoot another sniper who hadn't spotted me and killed 3 enemy infiltrators who had been in front of him. I managed to kill him also.

I wouldn't call this a single shot, but I hung out for an hour and a half on top of one of the big slanted rocks on Ishundar and just waited there, averaging about 1 kill every ten minutes. I always waited until the guy I was targetting had his back turned before shooting. Sometimes I'd have to let go of the killing shot, but it was still quite a lot of fun. The same guy was running around trying to find me, and eventually sent me tells admitting that he didn't know where the heck I was.

I haven't ever had any amazing shots, like galaxy kills or things like that.

Clearly the only real manly man non-cowards are the people "brave" enough to wear standard armor and wield a pistol. Braver still are the ones who stand completly still because dodging is cowardly.

So tough guy just stand there and take my sniper round like the manly man you think you are. :)

Thist isnt really impressive but, while two reavers were pounding this guy with rockets i pulled out my bolt driver and stole their kill :evil:. He was moving to so i guess thats semi-impressive.

Not a bolt driver, but I would call it a snipe. A VS Max was causing hell on top of the roof at a base, and I hit it with 2 Deci shots from 250m away. I don't know why he didn't run after the first shot hit him :)

Only the tactically inept don't know how to use a sniper's strengths and weaknesses.

I once got 2 MAXs and 3 grunts with 1 boomer. I was pretty happy about that. I also killed a prowler with a JH, got the lucky kill shot on it. I regularly beat skyguards/harrassers/mosquitos with AP MCG, and even the occassional Reaver, more due to their poor abilities than my 1337 skills.

My best shot was when I was lining up to nail some grunt 200 M away, I pull the trigger and my view goes dark... I'm like WTF? I hit some enemy cloker who was running right in front of me. They must have seen me looking around in their death screen and they sent a tell saying, look up :) it was a dead cloaker. Too funny, I would have been dead in 10 seconds if I wasn't that lucky.

Once, This n00b in a pounder was at the top of a tower trying to kill me. I was a few feet out of the range of his grenades on a hill next to the tower. I continued to shoot him with my bolt driver until I killed him. I can't remember my most skilled shot because i haven't played in months.

I never made any impressive shots with a sniper rifle. I did however lock down an entire NC base with my sniper rifle. Kept 10 guys from sticking their heads out. They had to rush me all at once to beat me.

A couple of months ago, a TR Galaxy dropped a full load of troops over Gunuku. I was in the middle of a field by a tree and killed an infiltrator in the middle of the air during the drop, then proceeded to get one shot off on a Rexo. He hit the ground running and I got the final shot off. I love my bolt driver. There have been other great shots, but one story is enough for now.

wore down a reavers shields today with my 20mm cannon on my vanguard then shot him out of the air from about 75-100m's we were pretty far i had to zoom in and even then he was online like an inch tall. :) btw he was actually active and started coming at us and firing his rockets .

I shot a hot dropping guy in mid air with the Mag's rail gun. I thought that was pretty impressive

Luckiest shot: I was tracking a moving target from behind a tree and almost
didn't take the shot because the tree had come into my view,
but took a chance and nailed a cloaker that was about to take
me out. When my scope went black I thought I was done for
so I changed weapons and there he was laying on the ground
at my feet :p
Best shot: any of many moving targets!

My best/most luckiest:

Killed 2 vanguards with a sniper rifle.

My favorite lucky kill of all time: After beating up a galaxy really hard, my mosq got shot down by the sidegunner. As I hotdropped i fired a few AMP rounds just for the hell of it. Only 2 shots hit, but the 2nd shot exploded the galaxy giving me 8 kills. FUNNIEST CRAP EVER!

Luckiest - Prowler with a full crew. (I love advanced targetting)

Best - Three shots, three terrans. I had flanked all three of them, they were move in a row on my right. I took aim down the line and fired, swapped weapons and fired, reloaded and fired. All were dead, to this day 2DeeEfEx and his croanies are still convinced I'm a hack/cheat.

Two other memorable shots were a guy bailing from a reaver, and a cloaker just as he jumped a base wall.

I shot a cloaker sprinting along a base wall from a good distance away, that's probably my best/luckiest shot.

When I still had Adv. Targetting I took a potshot at a Skeeter with a sliver of health left after two Phoenix missiles hit it. Boom, dead.

Easiest/coolest shot was when I fired at this MAX 6-7 times, and he didn't move. I just kept shooting until he died.

Another nice shot was when this agile MCG surgemonkey was strafing my MAX buddy to death, so I held far because I didn't want to kill the MAX. Finally I decided to just shoot, and right when I do, the MAX drops dead and my shot connects. Didn't save him, meh.

I've only been playing for 3 days, and though I'm mostly an infil combat engineer now, I sniped the first day I played.

Most rewarding kill: Using the sweeper shotgun to kill a VS MAX at point blank range. I circle strafed and shot away. I think I reloaded like 5-6 times. Eventually a reaver joined in, but I got the kill. He sent me a tell frustrated as all hell he couldn't turn fast enough :)

Funniest kill: Aiming for a moving REXO NC at a bridge defense, missing the shot, but seeing EVILPIG uncloak and drop dead instead ;)

Best sniper kill: Sitting on a hillside and killing off 5 NC moving attackers making for the back door, no misses, 10 shots. After I got the hang on how much to lead versus distance and runspeed, it became a lot of fun :)

I'm still getting the hang of this stealthy combat engineering, but I've gotten ~40 boomer kills, which are extremely satisfying. Especially MAXes. I went wild in that forest/swampy place at a defense. Think I got like 5 maxes before I died (resupplied boomers 3 times)

luckiest: i was siting on a small hill sniping a tower, with friendlies all around me. suddenly reaver came and tried to kill me but i used steepness of the hill as cover, other were shooting at him as well, but somehow trhey could not kill him. well i grabed my sniper rifle, ran up the hill, blankpointed the reaver and shot it... with big KABOOOM it exploded and of course.. killed me:)
after that, people sent me tell that they as a hill against the sky, reaver doing something stupid on it, and suddenly sniper ran up, stood in front of it, crounched and blasted himself and reaver into hell...:p

best: took out fully healed max advancing towards me

Well, I don't know if this is my best, but it was pretty cool...was on top of a hill shooting at a tower, switched to 3rd person (with DL) real quick and see a infiltraitor coming up behind me...I stood up real quick, started moving off to the side, no zoom, took a shot and killed him, without aiming, then went back to shooting at the tower....

Another cool one I did, was playing as an infiltraitor at the time, was up on the top of the base, by the big rotating radar dish, watched a couple of guys come around the corner of the base into the court yard, and starting shooting my AMP at one...I took about 10 shots total,hit him 8 or 9 times and got the kill!!! I couldn't believe it, and I don't think he could either...he never knew what hit him!

Did another great shot to an infiltraitor who was running...he was so far away, couldn't see name or tell what side he was on...turned out to be one of our own guys...course he did thank me because he was out of ammo and need to reload anway! :p

Best snipershot: Killed a TR Agile from a distance of 354.4 meters at Rehua, Searhus.
First shot came from a distance of around 250 meters when he was running at a 10 degree angle in my direction.. the second shot came after the target had done some zigzaging and where running at 90 degree angle from my point of view. Took some time to get a clear shot again and thus the managed to run around 100 meters away. ;)
