I watched the first 30 minutes of this show and I gotta say, its craptastical. The games selected seem to be more based on media hype than anything else. There is no explination for the selections at all. This seems to be one big thing for the media to say this won this and this won that. I definatly did not enjoy it at all. While I enjoy girls prancing around in skimpy suits as much as the next guy its more to distract us from the suckyness of the show. Score out of 10 : 3 - It poorly portrays the true spirit of Video Gamers. Gphoria did it a million times better.

Yea it was the stupidist show ever, I'm not sure if they even talked to one gamer to get input on the type of show we would like to see. They insulted gamers, didnt say the nominees, and to top it off they had lil' kim.

The most annoying part was once they won (rigged, tony hawks game one after being out two weeks and he "convinetly" had a microphone to announce the next thing) the developers never got to say anything, and never really got acknoledgement for the fucking work they put into theser games, games arent easy to make.

I still love spiketv for their other shows, but this was a complete piece of shit :lol:

hawk won an award for THUG not right after but a few awards later they had a demo of the Boom Boom Huckjam skate/bike tour with Matt Hoffman and Bob Burnquist and i think Bucky Lasek...but yea i think it was rigged in a way cuz games that were less than stellar got awards...and dammit HL2 will be better than Halo 2 stupid SpikeTV fools!!!!11one!!

I really think you sohuld think of it less as an awards show and more of a video game variety show. you know a host, bunch of acts come out, theres some music, some humor, some performances. I mean If you totally ignore the award aspect of it was pretty entertaining.
