Hello!

The Black Hawks have made their first long (8 Minute) PlanetSide Video. I believe this video is special because it combines hard core gaming action with artistic slow scenery. This video is 110 MB and required the DivX codec to be installed (yes I changed all of our videos to AVI because everyone was yelling at me to do so) but I think you'll find it very entertaining for I'm very proud of this film.

Download it @ http://www.bhhq.com/ps/downloads/black_hawk_video2.html

2 Stars.
Average footage and editing. Odd choice of music that didn't fit. Poor video quality. Large file size. No weapons audio.

Nice second try, next one will be better I hope :)

Nice vid, but for the love of all that is good in this world, lose the "Danger Zone" song. :)

I was gonna say the exact same thing. Please, nix the cheesy top gun musak that has been played to death. Navy SEALS music was a bit better, but when there is so much better music out there on Kazaa I don't know why you would pick such gawd-awful tunes. And no, Eye of the Tiger would not be a suitable replacement.

Pretty cool over all though, but it looked like you weren't actually getting (m)any kills during the battle scenes. I know FRAPS eats hard drive like Jared eats Subway, but I think you'd be better off recording hours and hours of regular play, so you can edit it down to just the vicious kill spams. I also get the feeling that Galaxy drop was onto an abandoned dropship centre. Ah well, keep it up and you'll have some fine work before long.

Cant wait for SoA!!!

That videos ok, it's pretty much like the SturmGrenadiers video

Planning a simular thing with my outfit when its done, just imagine it...

A line of prowlers roll up in formation and crawl to a halt, the cannons raise simultaniously (sp?)... prowler 1 fires... then 2, etc etc :) cant wait :D

The latest version of media player has automatic codec download disabled. I had the same problem as you.

TOOLS/OPTIONS/PLAYER/
Download Codecs Automaticaly (.)

Or, failng that download that godawful divx thing.
Tha reminds me, I must seek and destroy gaintrickler, the spyware it sneaks onto your pc.

[edit]
it must only put it on if you select to download the divx payer as well, rather than just the codec, becasue I cant find it this time.
