Sig Limits

Our new signature restrictions are as follows:
Width: 500
Height: 220
Size: No larger than 512kb (total size for all images in sig)

At Pre-Determined times our Nazi' Sigbot scours the forums looking for violations. Upon locating these violations it will remove the sig. If this happens 3 times, your signature editing permissions will be removed - at which time you must contact an admin.

You put pictures under your name by going into your control panel, (user cp above) and editing your signature, inserting the full url of your picture (you have to have it hosted somewhere) between the following [ img ] and [ /img ].


So the full text would be.

[ img]http://yourdomain.yourisp.com/your/image/url.jpg[ /img]

Note, I have had to insert a space between the "[" and the "i" in the img tag in order to get it to display. You will need to get rid of this when you actually do it.

PLEASE can I keep my sig (Currently in my sig)
It's 500 width but only 100 height, it's under 40kb, by loads. And it doesn't mess up the layout, the width is just right.

If anyone still uses 640x480 res I will kill them!

I dont think its a matter of begging, sigbot will be the ultimate decider if you can keep your sig, and since its 500 long, the answer will be no

Curious is that why my signature was changed to "Changed by Admin"? Guess two character stats are too much for the ol' gal :D .

If you have more than one stat sig it totals them all up. If it goes over, it gets removed.

It says if it removes your sig three times you will be unable to edit your sig, it only changed mine twice and I can't edit mine now. I'm quite sure of this as I originally used the stats sig from planetside gaming, then I tried to put two stats sigs from that page, which got removed. So I put just one again, then I put a sig I made on which got removed. Sooo, why can't I edit it now?

So... These rules are kind of old, do they still apply? They do seem to contradict what the profile editor says which is 500x100.

Personally, I'd like to see at least 700x150. My sigs are hot, so I should get an exception if anything. :cool:

Sigbot has been unleashed and all the profile info has been updated. There have already been victims of Sigbot to be sure to check to see if your sig is available anymore.. ;)
