Used to be great? it was NEVER good, it got better with the BP but now is back down again. But this drop is basicaly due the larger amount of people.

There shouldn't be a drop, the extra servers should cover for the extra people.

It seems like my fps is bad outside or in a tower. But when I go into a base its much better.

Personally, my FPS count has been stable (40) with the new patch

Mine dropped lots, so I overclocked and got the lost FPS back and then some.

If you are on Emerald its defintely lagging during prime much worse ofcourse. I'm usually on Markov and its doing fairly well.

I have to admit that this is the first patch that has decreased my fps.
Though I do have to say this...
FPS optimizations through animation craptification is stupid.

Fps loss has nothing to do with the server, its your own computers ability to handle all the info th server has to send you about what other people are doing! 8) If it were teh server end. It would cause a slow chain reaction causeing a huge system malfunciton in every computer linked to it. 8( Or atleast damn close. Trust me it wouldnt be pretty. from a perspective of something that could see it happen from teh speed of electricity! It would be like Krypton exploding but a billions times more catastryphic. hell the universe collapsing in on itself would be tiny compared to it. 8)

yeah, the server merger did the following:
- Increase Cont. Load times by a lot
- Increase lag, and duration of lag
- Increased game crashes
also, i want to note that the JH+Surge+Agile exploit wasnt fixed at all, i still get the 3 frames of death thing

Speaking of crashes, I noticed last night that the recall to desktop bug is back.

I have a athlon xp300+ 512 corsair low latency RAM, and a radeon 9700 pro. I have low FPS in zergs BUT lots of the time if goes to 0.7 FSP :( . NOW this happens frequently. When I get in the sanc when first connecting to the game I open the door to the outside my FSP comes to a hault.....like 0.5 FPS for a second or 2. This is terrible! Quite often i will round a corner and run into an nme my pc will freeze to .7fps and i will get capped and never even be able to fire off a shot. Can ne1 help? I thought i had a 1337 machine. :(
edit: I also get inside a base and there are lotsa action going on in them and something happens like the lights inside the base go completely dark. my screen blacks out and i have to shake the mouse and look to the ground to get the light to come back. Also, after i get through playing my PC will display a message "low on virtuial memory, windows will now increase the virtuial memory to ...."

yeah go into the hardware options and mke your page file (virtual memory) somthing between 1 and 2 gb, set the max and the minimum the same so it doen't resize it on the fly
