Where have you been?

What places have you been to on vacations and trips? Special trips please, we don't want to hear about you going upstate to see your mom/grandma/evil cabal (Boss)/relatives.

I'm a wuss. I haven't left North America.

As a toddler, my parents decided to go shopping in Windsor, Canada. We lived in Detroit, so it was a short drive. I don't remember much except tall buildings and a big McDonalds where they sold pizza.

I've taken 2 or 3 trips to Zacatecas in Central Mexico. It's not a tourist attraction, but there is a cool mine there, where you can take tours. Go if you have relatives. Don't expect something like....

Cancun, Mexico. Yucatan Peninsula.

(Please note that last year, our math teacher asked us if anyone had ever been to Mexico. Like 15 people raise hands. "And not Cancun, okay?" 14 people lower hands.)

The beach is probably the most beautiful in the world, except maybe Varadero in Cuba, but I've never seen it firsthand. What's great is that there is stuff to do for people like Hamma (get drunk at the 6,000 bars) and the rest of us like the ruins at Chichen Itza (BRING WATER), Tulum (The most beautiful place in the world. BUT BRING WATER), Xel-Ha snorkeling, shops in Cancun, etc.) However it is sad to see the city itself bleached by tourism- it's almost like one big bar. That is an understatement. There are frikken bars everywhere. Drunken geek PSU admins don't die, they go to Cancun.

And let me say this. If you want to stop masturbating...don't go to Cancun. There are thousands of hot people from whatever gender you prefer.

The only thing I have to say is: Don't stay at the Hyatt Cancun Caribe. And don't drink Mexican tap water. Buy bottled. Mexican tap water is contaminated. Not kidding.

And everyone's made the typical Disney World/Universal Studios trips. But we do it by car, you have to take a jet, and Florida residents get a discount HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I never went to Disney World.... My biggest trip was to Germany... yeah, 5 bucks for a glass of water baby, and they also made a new food (at least over in Kolon) named after me :groovy:

Toulouse, France (also area of around for about 200km Live here now 16-17)

Paris,france (for about 20minutes just driving threw traveling 3 months ago, the area is like new york wayyy to crowded)

Hamburg, Germany(car broke down :-( stayed the night dont know much about germany except they have like 5 trash cans at every pit stop, paper plastic glass trash and something else)


Amsterdam, holland(only the airport, which was nice and advanced hehe)

London, England(again only the airport when you could see the sky it was always cloudy, i've heard the polution is terrible there)
Belgium(passing on way to denmark They drive politely there those slow mo fo's stay to the right as we fly by in the left)
BTW in europe most of the countries... they drive on the right side of the road.

Sweeden(my Far-boer(father's brother) lives there, Nice place mostly language is great it's as if some one were singing)

K�penhagen Denmark(relatives live there and my mother father and sister are born there, last visited the last week of july of this year)language is beautiful but i cant say way all i know is i met a girl in the sumemr that spoke danish and i could just sit there listening to her forever... cept she had school and wanted to speak french ;-(

Oslo,Norway(Cruise with my mor-boer(mother's brother) nice place great day when i was there but the language is very like em how to describe it technical it sounds like some one reading a manual)

I've never been to any other American state but California.

Not a ton of places, but up until 2 years ago I had never left new england. :p

well, I've been to many states, but they're all the same, you know mountains here beaches there, same americans everywhere.

But I have been to Costa Rica. now that my friends is one helluva country. Granted I was too yong to enjoy the city night life but damn did it look amazing.
But since my step-father (heh, ex-step-father) was from Costa Rica we got one great tour of the country, to many a small village where most people probally wouldn't go. The Volcanos and ruins were amazing. but lots of spiders, and monkies... but the spiders were worse, like the tarantulas yea... that scared the shit out of me. I mean I cold even begin to describe the beautiful wildlife we saw.

oh and on that trip was the first, last and onl time I have worn a thong. I shit you not. even got pictures of it. was sort of the thing to wear down there... and being younger i didnt care much.

great place, would love to go back, now hat im older and could probally enjoy it more.

Hmmm back in the day when my parents were still alive I used to travel alot... I do mean alot! Since my dad was an executive for a travel company (what's the name in english damnit!).

All over Canada, some states... (not alot of them) we stayed a month or so in L.A never again will I go there :lol:. I think we got mugged like 5 times till my father and cousin started bringing protection :lol:.

Hmm Mexico, Italy, Spain, Austria, France...

Alone or with friends I did: Egypt, Spain, Austria, Hawaii, some states, England, Germany, northen part of Africa, South-west part of Russia... not enough... Greece... well most of europe :lol:

Right now I'm planning my trip to Japan with a friend of mine. Next is India and Tibet.
