Is there a good Mp3 player that I can use while playing Planetside that will NOT rip the shit out of my comp? Winamp completely destroys my computer by itself, without having any other programs opened, I need something that is light, so I can have some of my own music instead of the normal techno-opera.

Suggestions, my brothers? :D

No probs, though I don't understand why winamp eats so much for you, what version are you using?

Well, I have 512 Ram. the Winamps I have used were Winamp2, Winamp3 and currently Winamp5 Beta. They are rip my comp to shit. I have to restart my computer everytime I run it, or it lags pretty bad.

512 should be more then sufficient! I know people running Winamp in their car on a PC with 16 megs of ram and a P133.

What CPU do you have, and what OS? If it is NT/2k/XP can you right click your taskbar, go to Task Manager, Processes, and sort by CPU while winamp is running, is winamp pegged out at 100? What about ram useage, how much is winamp using?

IPods are awesome. I have a 5 GB one with the I-Trip attachment. All you have to do is point it at a radio and it plays whatever is on your Mp3
