How many of you guys actually use medium assualt instead of HA?

I've always loved the cycler over the MCG. I want to know if there is anybody else out there that uses MA weapons over the HA weapons.

It seems as if over 75% of TR use the MCG and like over 90% of NC use the JH. Im not to sure how many VS use the Pulsar.

Im sure im one of the few players who isn't even certed for HA. Although you can prove me wrong!

I would certainly love it if the devs could make MA more appealing.

Guass is a 1/3rd of my kills, along with sniper, and scat max, and now Decimator :D

Just about every kill you see in my stats alone is done by the cycler.

TR with Heavy Assault: 33.0%
NC with Heavy Assault: 32.8%
VS with Heavy Assault: 32.4%

TR with Medium Assault: 84.4%
NC with Medium Assault: 83.9%
VS with Medium Assault: 81.4%

Therefore...
51.4% of the TR, 51.1% of the NC and 49% of the VS prefer Medium over Heavy.

I use to have the MCG........but I decided to drop it on all my charcters. Don't get me wrong its very useful but for TR the MCG is just a cycler with a slightly higher ROF and more ammo. NC JH I hate the damn thing so much I refuse to use it. and the VS well I don't play VS....

I droped HA for reaver and i am better for it. I do more reavering than anything, but i'm gona go back to my sniping ways, and i much prefer the range of the guass to compliment that. I jsut wish it had the power it should have, you take a cycler or a pulsar wielding trooper and you both open fire at the same time the Cycler or pulsar will win, unless they are a very bad shot.

I used sweeper/gauss for a long time, now I only have standard assault and I love it.

With the merge the number of easy kills has gone up so much, makes the AMP really shine.

I use a pulsar when I'm not driving or invisable. Being able to switch ammo types instantly (say when a max comes 'round the corner) is a huge advantage. Indoors and without any enemy maxes, I prefer a supressor, but then again I was raised by nintendo and have crack aim ;)
