I am looking it to getting a 9600 pro or XT. Dose it matter which manufacuter it is made by?

not really, but if oyur looknig for a really good OEM card go with sapphire. I mean a radeon is a radeon is a radeon. Just different companies might Put different features on the card or bundle it with different things. The reason I like sapphire is that they put thier own custom heatsink/fan on it, so i cools better.

You usually get the best warranty and support on ATI brand cards. They also cost a little more. Some 3rd parties do a little extra, charge a little extra. Some use a little cheaper manterials, charge a little less. VisionTek is pretty good now that they are in the Ati scene.

Bah, OEM heatsinks are craptastic. Put on a good heatpipe.

Powercolor is making the XT with faster ram than ATI specifies, so you get a wee bit more with that card.

Asus makes the 9600 XT, they make great stuff. high quality, good suport, good prices and good cooling.

yea id stick with the bigger more notable brands. I dislike powercolor myself due to how they called slower np 9700s "gold" version.
