Planetside Slang

I'm sure as Planetside becomes more popular and the time it is on-line that people will start using slang for some thing, eg EverQuest has Mob (critter), Proc (weapon does it's special ability) DoT (Damage over Time spell).

I'd like to see what type of slang people think will evolve in PS.

Just to start the ball rolling:

Vanu MAX - Barney (it's big and purple :D )
TR MAX - Turtle (it looks big and slow)
NC MAX - Jug (looks like T2 Juggernaught armor)

Well Im not opposed to introducing new slang, but it should be something natural.

For example who really knows/wants to spell out mosquito? And as a result skeeter is the common slang.

The NC/TR nicks you came up with could do with some work...

I do however LOVE Barney. That is some brilliant slang. Good work txMaddog. :thumbsup:

From now on I propose that Barney/Barnies is the official slang for VS MAX's.

When I look at the TR tank I can't help but think of a pissed off Rhinoceros. Maybe its the two guns on top along with the headlights that just look evil. Maybe I'm just hallucinating in which case please ignore this post and give me the name and number of a good psychiatrist. Oh yeah and the TR Maurader is just a truck. I'm trying to think of a good nickname for it but nothing's coming to mind. If I was really bored I would go compare the Maurader pic with pictures of various trucks but I'm actually only trying to procrastinate from accomplishing real work. (hint: someone else do it)

Barnies is a funny name but the VS are a totally different shade of purple and they have the least barney like body by far.

VS Max = Invid (from robotech, I can't remember if there was a specific name for the Invid battlesuit)
