Ok every time I run Ad-Aware it comes up with the same thing. When I try to remove it it always comes back. It says the Vendor is CoolWebSearch and that it goes in the Malware category. I go to it location (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main) and try to delete it manually it still comes back. So I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of it. It keeps changing my home page and when I restart my computer ads are played in my speakers.

Go to the ad-aware main page. They may have a patch or a way to get rid of that key permanently.

Yeah, you might wanna also try msconfig to see if a program is reinstalling it at startup, and maybe try using spybot search and destroy, or some other program and see if those get rid of it.

My S&D starts up then the lttle window appears on the toolbar..then just shuts down..any help?
