Has anyone else played this game? I picked it up yesterday. The only problem is the single player campaign is too hard. The damn computer cheats before each mission and makes the perfect fleet to counter yours. Besides that it owns.

Bah, if the campaign was too easy do you think you'd still play it? Hard games are fun because once you've beaten it (without cheats) you can say "Kiss my ass bitch"
I think the original was better :(

"Cheats"?
IF by cheat you mean setting it's strength to counter your own size, while still maintaining a good level of difficulty, then yeah, that's cheating.

So, Homeworld. not cataclysm right? both were good but Homeworld still had the best storyline, best music, great play... not sure about H2 though

It was always fun to bring homeworld to a lan party and have people be like "Fuck that i want to play <insert other RTS here> but then have them peaking over your shoulder at the massively orchestrated and tacticly precise cap ship battles and they be like "I want in next game"

only thing i dont like about homeworld 1 is that its somewhat hard to orginize squadrens, and after they destroy the target you assigned them they go idle till you reasign them another target.

Yea the AI did require serious micromanagement, i still remember my friends comment it's like amanaging using soviet doctrine in space.

Just set them to aggresive and they would attack anything that came near them.

Fun game at first but it got a little too bitchy for my tastes.
