Screw that. If you don't know how, you most likely can't make anything that great (Photoshop is a bitch). I'd say to ask airlift Reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaal nicely, he is the Sig Mastah. It's a lot easier too.

If you've got some real patience and want to learn Photoshop, here are some links to get you going. They cover everything Photoshop does, so you'll have to wade through and figure out exactly what it is you want to do.

They need to be under 40k or Sig(Hiel)Bot will take them away. Their format doesn't matter. Just the size.

Ok, well those are both under 40k. The jpg is 36k or so and the gif is only 20k.

My eMa sig was like 200+ so Sig(Heil)Bot owned it and I am in mourning with my new 38k sig.

I find that the easiest way to reduce the size is to go into Fireworks and reduce the quality some. Most of the time, you can't even tell unless you reduce it by like 80%. Or resaving a jpg as a gif can help a lot.
