This is a video taken by a forum member from another forum i visit. As you can see, they are chilling in there truck and they start taking mortar fire (some mortars landing within 75-100 ft. of them (debris raining down on them). The video then zooms to some mountains in the distance that start taking mortar fire (afghans shooting from the mountain).

Intense video. He says he has another he will upload soon.

Note: Video contains US Soldiers cursing, and mortars exploding. Please put your children closer to the screen so they can get a better view

This isn't entertainment, this is reality. Keep that in mind. This isn't a show, it's a chance to see the actual story, no news organizations invovled. There were people in that compound.

I am 9 hours ahead of EST. Please excuse me if I send it via email then go to fucking bed. We had a rocket attack 2 nights ago and I had to freeze my ass off for 2 hours while we waited for an all clear... How about some god damned patience!!!

This is the story behind the attack on the video. It was in Orgun-E, Afghanistan. It wasn't filmed by me, it was filmed by some 10th Mountain guys, I wasn't there on this particular occaision. This was from 107mm rockets that were fired from the hillside.

In total 13 rockets landed (i think only like 5 or 6) are seen. There is a couple of prepositioned artillery pieces there and they opened up on the suspected positions of the bad guys. Its called 'fire for effect' They shoot then adjust slightly to cover a large area. It is a blanket effect.

I wanted people to see this so they can kind of see what it is like and also remember that there is a war over here, not just in Iraq. Although the intensity is much higher in Iraq (don't want to take anything away from Iraq) it is still happening here too.

I am still debating about the 2nd video. It has some special forces in it and so it may be 'secret' . Basically it shows a firefight with .50 cal and small arms, the bad guys fire back with Ak's then the SF calls in some Apaches... No bloody limbs flying, just shows you what a long distance firefight looks like.

I am a medic, I may upload a video of a hoist mission that we did about 3 days ago. It is kind of cool.

if he posts a link, you better too!

and so this happened in afganistan, interesting, you dont hear too much about the war over there anymore, nothing but iraq, and you dont hear anything anymore about iraq either

It's sad how the people can lose focus on our boys in Afghanistan so easily.

That means don't go to another forum you whore, and link the video there. Or don't post it on your site. This is also known as "Hot Linking"
