Halo PC and Call of Duty

I just played Halo PC about 2 hours ago and i have one thing to say... IT KICKS ASS!! IT definetly blows Halo for X-Box away. Im getting it for Xmas :D

Also, my friend got Call of Duty and lent it to me. Ive played it, also a GREAT game. But god is it hard. Even on Greenhorn its some what of a challange, so far ive beaten it on Greenhorn, (what ever the 2nd difficulty is), and Hardened. Ive tried Veteran.... fuck that, almost one bullet and youre dead, this diff. requires PERFECTION.

yeah, that was my bad, ive seen many CoD threads, but no Halo PC threads, just thought id toss in my thoughts

Loved COD thought it was a cut above MOH., As far as Halo.....I enjoyed it very much, except fot the fact that any game whatsoever that has giggling npcz SUCKS!

Anyways good thing you found a game you like... I need to buy one of those I need a new shooter... I'm still playing AA and I play way to much... I'm up to 22 honor in a week :ugh:. Took me 2 weeks to get to 13 honor last time I played (v.1.0 to v.1.7) I got up to 30 honor then quit... never found out what my old apssword was then I made the new one... :lol:

Halo was an extremley disapointing game. I refused to play Halo Xbox so that I could fully enjoy the game when it came out on PC. I waited all that time for a midly good game (to start with) wich degenerated from nice scripting to "throw as much stuff as you can at them."

Once set of levels featuring those organisms things (I forget what they're called) was particularly bad for that.
Once I completed the game I ws looking forward to some good multiplayer action. Deathmatch was unplayable and CTF and the other modes were mediocre to say the least. 16 players? are you kidding me?
On top of that, for such an old game it certianly is a power hungry mongrel.


Call of duty, I agree is a great game. Greenhorn isn't so bad. Once you've played all the MOH series you kind of get used to it's style of play.

Hmmmm.....played Halo for my bros x-box..........not that fun. Havnt played it for pc. But CoD is a differnt story. OMG that is a great game. So intense.....so true.....so frieking fun. A liitle on the hard side though. :scared:

its Halo man, youre an semi invinsable fighting machine bent on exterminating the Covenant (the aliens) then you stumble upon these mutants called the Flood, now if you were to go Sam Fisher on thier asses, youd die in a heartbeat, the only way to win is to unload everything you have into thier demented bodies

I was extremely disappointed with Halo, especially after the build up. CoD kicks ass, decent sp though a little to easy, even veteran is easy if you go slowly and save lots :p. The mp is what has me hooked, interesting and fun.

To be honest, It's not that hard.

Only problem with the game is it's so damn short, but the intensity of the fights makes up for it!

I dunno, i waited for halo PC for soooo long after i played the one for xbox and i wasnt that impressed. I liked the xbox one because it was original and a very addictive game. I thought the one for PC would be a lot better, but i dont really think it is...

BTW, this is coming from a guy who lives on his pc. Ill take almost all pc games over console games any day

Halo PC is not hot shit because of scripting, AI, or level design. It is hot shit because of pacing and an extremely tight control setup. There is always the right amount of variety for the action, and it is always the right intensity. While enjoying the pace of the game, you are thrilled by the responsiveness of the controls.

the best thing about Halp PC for me is that you can fly the Banshee and theres this really bad ass Flamethrower :D
