PSATs are back, and I would have gotten an 1160 on the SAT. I fucking owned the writing section, though. GPA in 9th grade was very close to a 4.0. The curriculum in my school is hardest in South Florida, easy. (Prep school).

I have recieved letters from the following colijes and universi-tees which basically say "Yes! Send me your 10 reasons/instructions on how to navigate colleges/etc. booklet. Insert self-buttering up of college here. Use my first name so much it's obvious that this was a template. Reply by mail in the postage-paid first class roxxor L10 envelope we sent you, or by logging in with this login and password."

The collijes (Location in parenthesis):

Simon's Rock College of Bard (Great Barrington, Massachusetts)
Washington University in St. Louis (St. Louis, Missouri)
Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts)
Providence College (Providence, RI)
Columbia University (New York City, New York)
Tulane (New Orleans, Louisiana)
Goucher College (Baltimore, Maryland)
University of Miami (Miami, Florida)
Duke University (Somewhere in the South) also sends me these summer course applications for performance on my ACT (taken 7th grade in talent program)

More are coming in daily.

Dude...how 'bout I FINISH SOPHOMORE YEAR before you open your proverbial legs, K?

Just kidding. This is good news. I'm going somewhere.

I took the SAT through a talent search program last year(7th grade), and I think I got around a 550 for math and a 550 for verbal.

I got some sort of scholarship for a 3-unit math class at a local college that I can use during my senior year in highschool.(w00t)

Oh, get used to it, kiddo. I had letters sophomore year before I took my PSAT. My PSAT score was 132 (it's only out of 160, silly), so I was flooded with college mail.

Relish it, they will offer you scholarships. I had 4 pretty good ones I turned down in order to be closer to my sweetie's school.

Aztec Saying you went to the hardest school in Florida is like ordering a Big Mac and calling it a Filet Mingon.

Also in all seriousness I got a 1220 overall on my SATs Junior year and didn't get in my primary school. Hang in there, school grades mean more in the long run than some standardized test score. You get over 1200 you are golden for almost any school, just have a 90%+ average to back it up. I slacked too much and graduated HS with a 85%.

PS. It's "Colleges NOT Collijes" you might want to learn that before you graduate HS.

EDIT: Also you have to look at all those schools you listed, they are all private, they WANT your money as much as your Brain.

Stupid new math that allows dipshits to have a gpa over 4.0

And if you want to go start applying... the funny thing will be when you get those rejection letters.

Or as a friend of mine once said after a date: "It's like fueling up a car, getting it all cleaned, and then having it break down a mile into the drive"

There are a few really young kids around my uni. I spoke to one in ICT, my course and theirs share a couple of classes. He said if he could do it all again, he would have stayed in school and grown up in his own time rather that go off to uni so early. He said that he THOUGHT he was pretty grown up and ready for anything, but he was wrong.

Wow. Im suprized they dont teach you fools anything. Colleges in 10th and 11th grade go for the spagetti on the wall trick. Throw and hope some sticks. They dont know anything about you in reality other than you have a semi decent PSAT score. I got a perfect on the PSAT and a 1490 on the SAT

my friend went to john hopkins cty this summer, he hated it, parents made him do it, lately ive been doing ok in school, but failed a science test and my math grade is mediocre, i had an A- in english which improved, not much tho and my last paper was meh, didnt spend much time on it, my question is...is it worth putting in the extra work to get all As in 8th grade, i guess i should in english so i can get into honors but what about other subjects my current grades for term 2 are C- Science, A- english, A spanish, A socialstudies, B+ math, my science grade will improve over the course of the term

Me in 8th grade:

Math-like 92%
Social Studies-92.5%
Science-94.8%
English-98%
Band-100% (You can't fail this, I swear to God. Try as you might, it can't be done.)
FACS (Homec)-Probably like 70 something, cooking blows.
Reading-96%

Much badassity in my grades. My parents have this system where:
B-1 week without comp
C-2 weeks
etc.

But they don't grade on related arts (Band, FACS, Art, Chorus, Gym, MEAD) MEAD is just a white men suck class, it ain't worth crap, but I have to take it.

Everyone's posting grades, figure I might as well.

And spider, give it a rest, you're not funny, nobody's impressed by an old post that you enjoy quoting. I don't mess with you about your 180,000 a year job with full benefits where you killed two people, you don't mess with me about my crappy sense of distance, okay?

Got PSATs back this week, got an 1020. Not bad.

Now what's this I hear about the SATs being graded on a 2000 point system or something by the time I take them? (I'm in 10th)

I have heard that the SATs will have an additional writing section soon. I'm not sure what its point value is though because I don't have to take it anymore!

I haven't taken any PSAT, SAT, or ACT stuff yet but I know my GPA is pretty good, I think I have a 92 average +3 honors courses so thats like what a 3.8-4.0? I have no clue where I wanna go for college, but now it really doesn't matter what college you go to as long as its not Shotgun Petes Speedy College. Grad school is where its at.

I got grades.... just about all are C's, one I think is an A or a B.

Its good enough to play B-Ball and actually win a game this season. (our school got NO fucking good coaches...but cant blame the mom last year, without her we wouldn't have a team...actually that would be a good thing. Now our History teacher is our coach, we will win evry game now)

Hey aztec i'm getting the same thing now. I didn't take the ACT tin 7th grade though my partens said they didn't want to pay the $40 for me to take it.

Our pubilc schools rock. But our damn school boorg is going to have that change, luckily i'll be done by then. These are the same kansas extreme republicans that are tring STILL to get teachers to stop teaching evolution. But we have a decent govoner now mabee she'll fix them up good (call in the national guard and blow them to little pieces)

Why dont you send them love letters back?
Say something super romantic and cheesy like
"When I was opening this letter, I could feel the warmth of love that was put into it, from the machine that is zeroxing them off constatly. Then I opened it slooooooooowly and got a paper cut, the blood was crimson like my heart, wich now shows affection back twards that xerox machine. Oh how I love you, zerox machine #602"

Then see how they like it!
