Anyone played/beaten Deus Ex and/or Deus Ex: Invisible War?

I just finished IW, and I must say, the game pwns. I think, in most instances, it's underrated (is getting about an 8.3). Heck, I'd give it a 9.3. I think it's gettin an 8.3 because it is very very CPU intensive. My Nvidia ti 4600 was workin hard at 800 X 600, but I popped in the Radeon 9700 pro, it ran great at 1600 X 1240. The layout is also kind of bulky, and there are glitches in the graphics which were somewhat fixed with verison 1.1.

The first one was amazing as well, not because of the action, but because of the plot and the different endings.

IW has these same elements that made the first one great, and much better graphics. The plot continues fromt he first pretty well, and throughout most of IW you dont know who to side with, or what is real and what isnt.

I recommend you dl the demo which can be found at www.gamespot.com and probably fileplanet.

I love these plots omg! Gotta finish the other 2 endings...

IW is a travesty of a game that was dumbed down way too much for X-Box players. Yet another reason on the long list of why anyone owning an X-Box should be taken out in a field and shot.

The original was indeed a great game. It's really a shame they couldn't keep the legacy alive with the sequel :(

Deus Ex was a transcendant experience for me. There is no word to describe the feeling that I got when, being completely out of the proper ammo, I devised and successfully executed a plan to destroy two walker robots without firing a shot. I realize I couldn't have done such an awesome thing without the developers complicity, and that made me respect them all the more--there were many more moments in the game like that. It really rewarded people who gave their actions a bit of thought.

I'm wary of IW. I hear it's been dumbed down.

I own an xbox. Go shoot yourself.

But its only because i use it to play games on live, like ghost recon for example, and when halo 2 comes out it will become useful. My cousin works for midway also, and makes xbox games, see Psyops. And I was testing that.

:/ The demo left a bad taste. I'll have to "try" the second one before buying.

LOL Raiden. I've never playd Deus Ex before, either original or IW, but if its as good as you guys say, I might consider getting it. Just one thing; how time consuming is it?
