oh course i have things i want to add... its me damn it!

CE

barbed wire- it will be a little wall of barbed wire that 3 feet tall and 5 feet long. can be passed through but you will take 10 dmg if you are in armor... this means standerd and up.

semi pungy pit- it will not be a real pungy pit par-say but it will be little spikes in the ground of course but rather you falling in it comes up and stabs you taking hafe health and it can not kill you... so if you HAD 100% it would be 50% and if you had 2 it would be 1.

bounsing betty- ok if you dont know what this is its a mine made to mame troops... it does this by bouncing out of the ground and shooting shrapnel all over

lader- used to scall walls and to pass over barbed wire

emp mine- same as a normal mine but this is designed to emit a emp wave in a 5 feet radius... just like a jammer but i mine.

AM

medkit genkit- gives the AM the ability to make med kits

stem packkit- gives the AM the ability to make stem packs wich are used to restoure you stanima

M.A.S.H- its not like the kind we have now but more like a deliverer that lets out a healing wave or what ever and it heals friendlys in its little area.

nano-pathigen 'nade- a little nade that pisons troops and slowly kills them... i mean it just couses them to take more dmg than normal and on implact it slows them down and resets the implant timers.

I like the ladder idea but I'm not sure how well barbed wire would work or even be accepted.

This is not Battlefield 1942 man, think for complex and futuristic. Your ideas are to untechnilogicaly advanced.

Also your ideas are waaaaaaay to farfetched. You have to really think about it.

The ladder Idea is cool but I'd rather have a grappling for scaling walls :D

Tears, the problem with your ideas, as Bryan inadequately attempted to point out, is that they don't have the 'feel' of Planetside. Picture this: You walk into a crowded, messy courtyard. Alien weapons flash by you, and tracers criss-cross the entire area like a spiderweb. Suddenly, you run into... Rusty barbed wire?

:lol: :lol: funny funny funny , i think the ideas are to modern for a futuristic setting also, i like the med ideas , but the ladder and the barbed wire are to "21 century" of something to put in PS.Maybe ......... teleporters?? :D

i aint really feeling the barbed wire... although i thought it would be neet if ce's could construct barriers similar to those in some of the bases entrances (you know, the ones when your tryin to desperatly get an ant into the base and u always ram into one)

It would work like the repair gun, you'd have to sit there and fill up a bar for it to fully construct, that way you could control the hight and armor of the thing... they could be destroyed but could handle significant punishment so that they could be used as pretection.

The ladder's also a neat idea but in a previous thread (about a leap implant) i had mentioned the idea of a grappling hook that would work like the one in those tenchu stealth assasin games for ps. that way it would be up to the individuals skill with the thing to make it work and would keep people from abusing it.

pits and bouncing betty's seem too vietnam war'ish, although the ability to dig would be a nice addition... they could work as anti-tank ditchs or simple trenchs.

to add somethin new to this list... id like to see ce have some sort of anti-air that would work at a farther range than spits. but with all these add ons i wouldnt object to making it an adv ce cert.

:p im talkin about teleporters like in the carverns , only get rid of those stupid stairs on the side of the wall , just put a teleaporter on each side of the wall , or u could go inside on the base and use the stairwell inside :groovy:
But u should have something , like a teleporter that u throw like a nade. Take the teleporter(receiving end) and throw it on the wall if ur attackin , lay the other end down on the ground, 10 seconds later u have an instant transporter to the wall for ur friendlies to use to capt. the base

Let me present to you... the bloodslut2000, i call it the blood slut 2000 because its sucks so much blood its slutty(and the fact that i just thought this whole awesome idea up on the spot at 2:38 AM), well yea anyways, picture a nano dispenser(AKA glue gun)now, the medic can shoot a projectile, but its like a dart with a wire attached to it. so the bitch shoots her darts at some asshole then the dart is stuck on him. there are 2 firing modes, Stamina and Health. if u choose health it starts to suck out blood(or whatever runs through the TRs veins) into a 2x6 bottle and is stored in your inventory, each bottle may hold 25 hp, and given to other soldiers on the feild. it can never kill the enemy but if their hp goes below 25% all their stamina will be drained and have a turning speed equivalent to a VS MAX. so then the bitch runs off with some a holes blood and drinks it for HP(u wanna live dontcha boy?) or gives it to her pimp(CR5) or whoever she wants to. k, same thing fore stamina too, but for this i was thinking something similar to a striker lock on, the guy with the needles in his eye can run out of sight to disengage the dart, but there will be no annoying beep or a lock on time, or message. the gun will be short range and you will need to pack empty bottles, and a box of darts... well yea i thot of that in like a min, but it took 5 to type, so yea i guess its in the beta phase, i actually like were this idea is goin and i will brush it up so its readable and non offensive

realy i dont see the problem... i was thinking of makeing a "laser" fence but i thought that would get thrashed cus of textures and the like but this is a real suprize that you guys dont like the emp mine... should i post what things are good for in my post to help you out.

Anti-Armor mines: More damage to vehicles, very little to infantry.

Remote Sensor: Once deployed a small window appears allow you to view and/or
a given area. It would have to be a fixed viewpoint for logistics Im
sure.

Remote Control Spitfire: Once deployed it is a standard spitfire, however when
deployed a small devices is generated (like boomers). Once
switched to secondary fire mode a target window appears like a scope
allow the CE to fire it. This would be nice since so many
spits tend to fire harmlessly into the ground.

Anti-Armor Spitfires: Inflicts more damage on vehicles, less on infantry.


Plasma Mines: When activated they generate a plasma cloud slightly larger than a
the standard grenade.

Also, in they way of vehicles. I think a vehicle mounted first aid station would rock. Have it hold 2 infantry spots, one on each side, and a MAX spot in the back. Group it with the support vehicles as the AMS and Router.


A portable medic station isn't too far fetched, especially after seeing the Flying Toaster.

Why have the majority of these threads recently been about giving the CE MORE? Don't you have enough, spitfires, mines, boomers, and motion detectors... I think you already get a lot out of that cert. If you want more it should be a new cert. I would love another empire specific weapon of some sort before any more CE stuff. The one thing I would like to see, instead of a ladder, and more futuristc, is something you deploy on a wall to the CY and opens a 'teleport' like a doorway to the other side, the only way to close it is destroy the device on the outside.

I mentioned the EMP mine back when they did the patch that had jammers disabling weapons on vehicles. It would at least be something to get the Vanguard/Prowler drivers a little hesitant about rolling into the courtyard.

Advanced medics need more love than CEs do right now. I would like to see some sort of 'stim' deal that medics could provide to troops. Either up an infantry's HP (even if it's 10-20 you'd see a lot of use) with the use of stims or kill the regen implant and allow a stim which slowly brings your health back up and lasts for a couple of minutes.
