As we all know, or some of us know, MrVicchio is trying to quit smoking. I think we should show some support for his attempts, both my Mother and Father smoked, my Dad quit, and my Mom is trying.

Best of luck to you MrVicchio, I hope everything works out for you, and if ya' need some help, or support, return to this thread, and read what the nice people have posted, for your support and for your cause.

I tried to quit once, but after flaming RocketFodder in the forums I went and got a pack. I don't think he has been back since then.

Find a forum full of Hippies and try to rationalize the need to use force against Iraq with them. That will help you vent the iratability quiting will give you.

Oh, and remeber that Brooke Shields is on your side.

Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life.

Start drinking. It worked for my friend, he's an alcoholic, but hey he doesn't smoke.

Actually, I would seriously suggest a highly aerobic sport like basketball or paintball. I play paintball every weekend, and it keeps you busy, and in shape. You just won't be able to play or smoke. One or the other. Trust me. You'll pick paintball. Anywhoo, best of luck. It's a tough fight, but your children will want their dad in 30 years alot more than you'll want to smoke. Good luck.

Woah weirdness, a friend of mine just cut down exactly like you, down from 2 packs a day to 2-3cigs.

Hang in there, also i suggest you try to quit all together asap, a few cigarettes can often lead to goin back to your old habits, of course the key thing is willpower.

Anyhoo good job and keep it up!

I wouldn't exactly call paintball an aerobic sport...

I'd get more excersize in one tennis match then in 2 days of paintball.

I play Softball, Basketball, Golf, Bowling(in a 35 week league atm), Paintball, Hunting, Rugby and anything else I can play :)

I am working on getting my LARDARSE inshape enough to get picked up by the U.S. Army's Warrent Officer Flight Program. This means I am rapidly approaching the point of PTing like Football Two-a-days :) Smoking is NOT good when undertaking such an intense workout regiment

A good way for me to stop doing stuff is just sleeping. Sleeping about 18-24 hours a day. That's how I got out of Daiblo 2. Also, let me stop eating constant Udon.

I got out of Diablo 2 when I got to level 99 and beat the game on all the diff. and realized how bad it sucked. Then myself and a friend made a huge cheat program for it, and ripping many poeple off.

Sputty, ever hear of D2Hack? Where it claimed to dupe and shit, but took all your stuff, and dropped it on the ground?

I heard of it and was glad. I never hacked so I spent alot of time item gathering. I'm glad people who use hacks got temporarily punished. But, why did Blizzard get rid of that hack so quickly when worse ones are still out and being made.

Heh,

That is far from gone.. Its still out there, and about 30 seconds of code would get by any thing Blizzard puts out. We just didn't care, we quit D2, and just stopped.. We were very popular.. Plus, we had an illegal webserver at the time, Blizzed threatened to tell our ISP. :( The bastards..
