Can the stealth armor hold a knife and a pistol, or only one. Here is a quick poll for stealthers to see what weapon they want to use most.
This is also a good way to show off my new sig, BIG props to Airlift! He is God!

Stealths can hold a knife and a pistol, and there is no common pool knife. I think that the knife will be the stealths best friend, i dont imagine many people would survive a melee boosted secondary attack.

what was the response you were hoping to illicit, was it supposed to be funny that you did almost no damage or were we supposed to laugh at the smear on the ground where you used to be?????

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the infil. suit can carry 2 pistols and a knife. I think REKs, Medical Applicators, etc. use pistol slots as well so I may end up only carrying a knife (as I was planning on carrying a REK and a Med Aplicator in an inf suit...)

Nope, just one pistol

Really? Are you sure?
Oh and BTW, there is no "Common pool knife". Just 3 empire specific ones.

Both the Beamer and MAGScatter are fun little things. I'll be using the MAGKnife a lot as well. :D
I do suspect the Beamer will be the best of the three, however. No recoil and a beam. Even for NC guys like me I suspect they'll be in high demand.

Unknown,
Weapon slots are not the same as inventory. Inventory is stuff strapped to your belt or bandolier. Weapon slots are things in actual holsters, or slung over your shoulder. You can't holster a REK, and you can't attach a rifle to your belt. That said, IS's have a knife, and a slot for a pistol weapon.

I thought you could holster a REK. I thought it fit into a pistol slot the same way the med applicator did.

Gah, I'm confused.
Heres how I think it probably is:
The REK is indeed equipment and not a pistol that is holstered. However, the medical applicator does go in a pistol slot. And the nano-dispenser (the armor/equipment healing one) goes in a rifle slot. This would make sense as the med-app. and the nano-disp. both use a type of ammo, whereas the REK is unlimited use (AFAIK).

REK is kind of like a weapon (when i played) you had to put it in your weapon slot to use it.

So a REK takes up a pistol slot too? Wow, that's gonna put a cramper on people's plans. If you go infiltrator with a REK, and theres only 1 pistol slot, you wont be able to carry a pistol

Hm, that's not how I understood it to work. I mean, yeah, when you whip out an REK or whatever, you need to holster your weapon, but I was under the impression that these times just take up your inventory space and limit the amount of ammo, medkits, and other equipment you can take.

Hmm...yeah maybe you're right. Oh well I R Confused. Maybe Hamma can clear this up.
1-REKs are equipment not a pistol.
2-If a REK would take up a pistol slot only Reinforced armors could use it, all the others only have 1 pistol so they would have to give up a weapon to use it.

I thought that weapons could be stored in the inventory, but you would have to move them into a weapon slot to use them. It would be difficult to carry multiple pistol-type items in the Infil. suit, due to its small inventory, but it would be possible.

Desroyeron, stop digging up old posts. This thing is two months old. Leave it alone.
