As for KPBH, it means nothing. Look at SunFxNSEE in my stats... I started that character 6 days ago specifically for this reason. All you have to do to get a high KPBH is forget about CR and ignore your empires needs.

Well, you can get CR5 and still remain a grunt. Leadership isn't a level its a state of mind and actions. Hell, i would just get CR5 for the OS and use of the CUD for various other perks.

thats what a lot of ppl do, get to BR20, then work on CR, then when they max out both, they start a new char and the cycle starts all over again

I don't think that makes much sense. Being a 'leader' doesn't mean you're not fighting. I assure you I'm CR5 and don't really waste my time trying to lead. (And it is a waste of time)
