Planetside sprites!

Not sure if this would go in Planetside discussion or the Lounge, but I made some sprites of Planetside weapons. Some took me a while, others took me about a minute. The Phoenix was fairly easy, the Punisher and Pulsar were annoying. The AMP took less than a minute. :D

Opinions? I'm going to be updating it fairly regularly, sometimes I simply can't sprite, other times I can sprite very well in a short amount of time...It depends, I guess.

They all look real good, but, like stated before, the punisher is a bit too short, and the repeater is too long.

Heh, they're being made for both my own amusement and a joint comic series with a couple friends of mine. It's going to be a Megaman X-based sprite comic, apparently.

Repeater looks a little weird.

It's probably the shading on the underside of the gun. And the repeater is very long, I have the TR background, and it shows a TR holding the Repeater. It's veeeeeeery long.

And I was going to sprite some vehicles. The ANT, Prowler, Gal, Lib, Reaver, Sunderer, and Vanguard, first. The 'Guard is turning out alright. It's taking forever, though.

Other than that they look great. I might be able to slap them on some characters and stick them into a game creator called "mugen"

You should check mugen out. Search for it on google. I used to play around with it a lot back in the days lol.

Besides AA MAXes, I've been taken down by the Phoenix more times than I care to say. I don't know how, but I always see a lone red missile on my minimap flying towards me, and I can never seem to dodge in time. Maybe it's because I do suicide runs over bases and get mass-raped by them. :P

But I get my revenge when I drop on towers and kill all the Phoenix guys. I'm especially good at tower-dropping. :)

Pardon my gravedigging, but I came across this thread in a google search while looking to see if I wasn't the only one who has made PlanetSide sprites... I plan to edit these in the future to make some NC and TR sprites.

Pardon the Lancer, but I never got around to miniaturizing one from the PS concept art, so I used the odd looking missile launcher found in the original sprites. I don't expect credit to be given for usage of these sprites, but DON'T CLAIM THEM AS YOUR OWN... :evil:

They won't. I tried to start the very same project about 8 months ago, Spork seemed to be fine with it, as long as you ain't selling it. I fell over on (not entirely unsurprisingly) the lack of a graphics artists and my inability to draw. I know RPGMaker inside out, but I can't draw for nuts :p
