huge 3 man robot

well, I see allot of cool ideas here that will never be done so I thought I'd put this one.

imagine a 10 meter tall robot that can take the damage of 3 prowlers. it has a driver and two gunners. the driver controls the feet and the gunners each control a hand. left hand is like a rocklet but with a 200 round mag and the fire rate of secondary mode only you can stop in the middle. the right hand is a 30 mm recoiless gun. anything it steps on blows up. it can jump just a bit less then the height of a base wall. it moves at up to 20 kph and provides radar coverage. control over the weapons though is hard, the hands are kind of slow since 10 tons of steal waving around would kind of make the thing fall.

now something like this is a bit overpowered to be distributed freely. so here's an idea:
the cert for the robot itself is 5 cert points, the driver cannot exit it, only bail out sending the robot crashing down. when aquired it's laying on it's belly with weels and is driven right out of the tech plant. at this point 2 reavers must hover over it's head, and a sort of energy beam connects them, then the reavers slowly fly up and after 30 seconds it's up, the reavers plant themselves on it's back and the pilots become gunners. if they bail out they don't just jump out, they're back in the reavers. they can't bail out however, they are bailed out when the driver bails out.

just imagine that sight, a 10 meter, 50 ton robot spamming rockets and bullets everywhere with little guys shooting deci's at it trying to avoid it's slow moving yet deadly weapons. then it suddenly stops to say "Hail" and waves that truck sized arm in the air!

naturally any gal and lodestar can carry it.

if somehow this idea does get taken seriously though the reaver thing could be scratched, they come in through the legs and they just need the cert too. or just make it limited to sanc and tech plants with a module.
or an even better idea, make it limited to CR4 and up, so ppl have something to shoot for. any CR4 with Uni-MAX cert can get one at tech plants.

While the idea sounds cool and appeals to my Voltran loving side...

There's a reason why most animals are not bi-peds... Bi-peds offer little stability and it's not necessarily advantageous... Humans get away with it due to our "superior" intellect, but from a combat perspective, a cheetah will kick our ass.

The MAXes already seem like "robots", so maybe some sort of enhancement on that end via additional cert point costs would work... Or maybe some sort of thing where it makes BR20 MAX users to be significantly larger and more powerful than regular MAXes...

except for the whole reaver thing and it being able to jump the idea is good however should be very unsteady and if you fall (like if it runs into a vehicle) it should take quite a bit of time to get back up

Power rangers has been made since the early 90's!! Voltron was made in hte mid 70's STFU!!! It was done again in 3d and then continued in a 3d and cartoon series. It has many more series in japan!!LIKE EVERY OTHER ANIME SERIES EVER CREATED!!!!!!!!!


To the guy who said voltron is younger than powerrangers, your a moron! I had the vultron toy when i was like 3 and power rangers didnt exist for 10 years. Thats was during hte original transformers fad. Its older than transformers.

And to whoever said its a lost thing in the annals of cartoons, it was shown on saturday morning cartoons a few years ago while and after the beast wars serries was going on!! And im sure it has some crap still running in japan, canada, or on any 5000 channel cable.
