Best classic Esperanza Spalding track is this live cover version of 'Endangered Species' from Austin City Limits. (it got butchered on a later album version as part of a more commercial approach, ugh).

But what really kills me is that loopy eyes and slurring at the beginning intro speech. It scream drugs/alcohol.

If my fav musicians are giving out wishlists, I would lose my mind. But the first one on my WANT list would be: no more toxic poison from drugs/alcohol. These evil chemicals just destroy brain cells/beautiful minds into mush.

I know U don't like being told, are not listening and just joke around it, so instead of keeping on, I had to write a poem just to get it out of my chest.

Here's the key if U couldn't figure it out.

Macadamia, the fate is in the place = Your fate is dependent on the location, where you can OD. The body will not put up the correct resistance/tolerance on unfamiliar places. That's why ppl OD on hotels, public bathrooms, clubs, rented trailer/van/bus etc.

So, please stop? You won't be able to feel anything anymore if you keep on. There's nothing like it. It enhances your feeling/thoughts many times over, in a nonstop sensual barrage. There's no natural competition, that's why it is extremely addicting.

Normal stuff like food/art etc. won't stimulate you anymore, b/c it will be the only thing that can excite you. So, stay away from it forever.

You can't also use the same dose over and over. Your body is an equilibrium machine. Much like it will counteract caffeine, 1 cup of coffee won't be enough forever. Once it responds to 1 cup, you will be forced to use 2 to get the same effect. Next thing you know, you are drinking 4-5 cups just to stay up.

The problem with this stuff, is you can OD. With your body calibrated to such a high dose and you are in a wrong place and it will not put up the necessary resistance/tolerance b/c it does not subconsciously know it's coming.

So, walk away from it for good? Never again? I don't claim I 'understand' U. But I'm worried, U R burning/killing your body with these chemicals. Amy Winehouse?

If U R not listening, what's the point? That's up to U now, what U want.

No, for what's it's worth, you're already 'wasted' in his mind, why bother?

Instead, what you gave me are look-i'm-not-drinking glamour shots. It's a start, but those are temporary brakes. Or those i'm-in-the-mood for-chemical-free pictorial notes. Again, it's a start. It's never enough. I don't want to see U in that awful, mentally and physically delapidated state again.

Look how evil people try to end U when U are down and out of it. They conspired to craft a hit-piece, doom video to strike a final blow to your mental psyche. It was designed to inflict permanent, maximum psychological torture, anguish, pain and cruelty and send U to deep depression and final meltdown.

Just look at the first scene. They put up a beautiful lady, with full tight-fitting body shot and then crop to the pretty face. Then cut to the monster-thing that was U. They were contrasting that 'beauty' (he could have had instead) and the 'ugly' U to lower your self-worth, self-esteem and make U feel unwanted. Now U see how pernicious these villains are?

A normal person would have said: isn't all this over-the-top, crossing-the-line, sadistic, unnecessary and dangerous? But no, there was no such thing. He was part of the posse of psychological terrorists. He knows exactly what's he's doing. It's plain obvious in that S_____ interview. He and sordid gang smell blood and weakness and were sharpening their claws to deliver the final strike (all the while calling it 'sweet' and 'harmless'. yeah).

He does all this while playing the altruist/humanist fiddle facade as a front.

Now their plan failed miserably and U are back on your feet, he's weaseling and whistling his way to feigned innocence while donning the classic sheep frock and conceiling those devious, dulled and broken claws.

What he wants now is a win/win (while U lose/lose). He will use U at your current best state (win) while U get used (lose). Then he will leave U at a
bad state (win) and you get left behind like a dope (lose). Don't give him anything, ever, not even affectations. Just walk way, please.

Unpretty = Worthless (dispose/abandon).

Your alcohol/drug use downgraded U in his system. Your recovery upgraded U back. It's all so predictable where this is all going to end in. He sure wasn't expecting your recovery, hence he was hell bent on finishing U off and crippling your mental state when he can.

If you wish to finally reinstate a replacement brake on your mind, 'promise' me U will not use any drugs or alcohol again. Better yet, promise it to
more than myself. The more close people U promise it to, the stronger it is. Do that until your internal, self-brake is restored. How do U know it is truly
self-restored? When U think to yourself: "These useless, disgusting poison will just obliterate my mind and body. I stand to gain nothing".

Hi Baby,

Don't think for a moment I'm ignoring U. I care a lot for U, U know. Do U think I'm capable of hating U, much like I know U are not capable of hurting me. U already put up that other side of U months ago (say no go). I easily brushed it aside like nothing coz I know it not really U. All I saw was a delicate, vulnerable flower. Important brakes and restraint in your head is broken. U want it repaired?

When U first threw that rap/r&b song to me months ago, I knew something else is up. A switch flicked in my head and every preconceived notions about U got immediately stashed in the back. What's left? Help, Save, Protect, Restore. Isn't that what has been since? All for U?

And I know exactly why U are like this. U have very little to no self respect. Maybe b/c your mom wasn't there to be a role model and teach U how to act like a lady. Hence, U don't know how to properly react to predators who treat U like an object. So guys would literally grab their arms around U all the time for selfies. Do you feel uncomfortable?

I'm asking U now, have some self respect, so you're not being mistreated like that. That's how U see yourself. And if U don't get what U want U mope feeling helpless and worthless because U feel U have nothing else to offer but your body. Someone comparing U to a dead blogger, asteroid and elephants is degrading and demeaning. Do U feel that way? I know U are trying to protect me, but how about U? Don't U feel disrespected, insulted, debased? If not, then that's exactly what I mean by lacking self respect.

U are just a piece of meat to these ppl. And when U are no longer fresh, U will feel such intense pain and rejection that U will resort again to drugs and alcohol. And that will be the end of U.So, start with that. Stop emphasizing your body as center of everything. U won't be who U are without your unique artistic skill and sweet personality. Without those, U would be average and uninteresting to me. Why don't U write your poem/thoughts or draw something for a change and post that and feel better about yourself coming from the true/real part of U, the brain, and still be appreciated for it?

If I had no self respect I'd just fawn over U, no matter what U say or do. But that's not the case isn't it. Instead, I respect U and U respect me just the same. It's mutual.

Your brakes are broken. So, calm down and repair your chemical and emotional restraints first. When the sh*t hits the fan, U will find missing any breaks will be a long drop to the bottom. Isn't that what nearly happened earlier this year? U sending those signals is quintessentially called a Cry For Help. It maybe not what U aim it to be, but that's what it is, in all honesty.

Just got reminded/rekindled of an old passion with long bike rides. Used to be a demon from 10-15. I'd go everywhere. My brother had a tricked out custom cruiser low rider with the classic, alloy shimano 6 speed that was ridiculous easy and stupid to ride to the point of numbness. Can't feel the pedal, it's like steering a cloud.

Built my BMX style from scratch as well, single sprocket but lighter. My favorite was going anywhere without touching the handlebar. Doable in flat surfaces, even on steep declines, but only impossible on steep uphill.

But I had to give it up, chasing a remarkable, unique, beautiful and intelligent girl into an elite school on scholarship. It was double the average college load at 13 years old, 10-12 classes and sleep 4 hours a day. Wake up at 5, groom to 6, commute to 7, class from 7-5/6. Cook/eat/clean from 7-8 and homework + reading up to 1 am. Even on weekends there's no break, due to many many major solo/group projects due every 1 1/2 months.

I also had to give up my deep love for chess championships (city champ!), basketball, and dancing, and pursuing to learn basic guitar. I knew all the simple dance moves from Roger Rabbit, Running Man, scissors, shuffles etc. and many exotic moves I've long since forgotten the name of. DJ culture was exploding in our neighborhood and city. And I know so many friends who are excellent dancers. Since I love music, i'd sneak out at night on my bike to peep at street block parties. I'd copy moves and make my own.

The only thing I couldn't do was breakdancing. When I was 6, I was trying to headstand and spin but my mother won't allow it, because "it's causing brain damage"...

She was able to skip over a grade in elementary due to her intelligence. I was upset since out of all the bevy of lovely girls chasing me in school, she's the one I'm only interested in and wanted. She skipped a year and is slipping away. She came back one day advertising the elite school's entrance exam. In a city of at least 1-1.5 million plus, 200 slots is not a lot.

I decided I can't stick with my chess schtick and everything else so I studied the whole year and joined focus study groups after school just to get in.

When I finally got in, I found out "Oh, her? She just moved to Canada".

I still kept my love for music, discovered an appreciation for cooking, gained deep analytical thought process under pressure and had my first glimpse of the Knowledge Abyss (zuzuzu...)

The Brits lost their preeminence in pop music due to their preoccupation with the 'next big thing', like overhyping overrated bands like the Smiths and Stone Roses. As a result alot of great British bands never got their due, and an American band (Nirvana) broke alternative music into the mainstream.

They were left with manufactured hype like Oasis and their cloying/annoying, unlistenable D-rate melodies, with no rhythm section or harmonies.

One of those great unsung alternative British bands was the Bolshoi. So, Pitchfork made one of their stupid list adding Pulp in as #2. I'm positive Pulp is a generic stinker, but might as well brave the pain and check out this #2 'tune' "Common People".

No surprise, it's a screeching garbage. What's shocking is their singer is blatantly and shamelessly ripping off Trevor Tanner of the Bolshoi. It's easy to conclude the Pitchfork organization has never even heard of Bolshoi so how can they even them any props. Instead, they are giving this copy all the accolades.

It takes a foolish village to screw up a lightbulb, but it takes Pitchfork staff to screw up a list. It's no wonder every one they release is a disaster. Such gutter-depth insight.

No real bands like Bolshoi, Big Country, Gene Loves Jezebel, Flesh for Lulu etc. (check)

Hipster BS like Arthur Russell and Talk Talk's "Spirit of Eden". It's not even music but random, amorphous nonsense. (check)

No Juluka but copycat Paul Simon's Graceland (check)

No Yazoo/Erasure but New Order (check). New Order simply rips off Disco and Italo-Disco while Vince Clarke actually innovates. He's adding acoustic guitars to dance song before Avicii (RiP) was even born.

I can go on and on on so many omissions but the most glaring one is the jaw-
dropping absence of Midnight Oil's "Diesel and Dust".

It's impossible to overlook such a popular and legit alternative crossover album.

I'm guessing it's far too political, Anti-Corporate and Anti-Globalist that Conde Naste

can't risk people singing/repeating these surversive earworms without offending their

global/multination advertisers. In the age of late stage Globalism, MAGA, and Brexit it's far too incendiary.

There's no way one can miss this unless there's complicit blacklisting/censorship, or I'm blind and just didn't see it in the list.

Soz, been gravely ill these past 3 months. It turned out to be severe chlorine poisoning from the filtered tap water i've been drinking the last 6 months.

At first I thought I was going to have a stroke or heart attack and there's a clog in my artery, so cut off all the oil, animal fat and salt.

Still not it, my heart still palpitates when I eat just a threshhold over 1 serving and my throat seems to be getting paralyzed making it harder to breathe (I can't commit to even a biscuit). It got so bad I had to go to hospital on emergency last month.

The doctor and medics think it's just anxiety and stress. But I figured it out within a day. I drink plenty of water and everytime my throat seems to be getting drier and not hydrated.

First I checked lead (Romans were poisoned by their water supply after all), then mercury, then chlorine. And sure enough all the symptoms from chlorine poisoning is there: shift in blood pressure (after eating = heart palpitation), sore/dry throat, difficulty breathing.

My throat and lungs haven't completely healed yet, but I've cleared up any lingering circulatory issues with excellent ginger tea.

Ayuni Dynamite - The wild, sulky goth/grunge girl. (traditional j-rock voice).

Hashiyasume Atsuko - The refined vocalist. Lady Clark Kent, the unassuming, nondescript bespectacled BiSH secret weapon. (and she has a solo album coming out!)

Unfortunately, it will not even make Pitchfork's top 200 songs of 2010s.
They ought to just change their name to Office Insane Earplugs.

The poison damaged my nervous system esp. the nerves in salivary glands, and on some throat muscles and worse the baroreceptors in my neck resulting in Postprandial Hypotension.

At least when and if I cross the threshhold (rarely), it doesn't go for hours like months ago, but down to 10-15 horrible and dangerous minutes. I have to be careful, not standing up or far worse, bending down as it exascerbates it severely.

(Months ago I'd sleep with my heart palpitating because the blood pressure won't ever go up, with broken baroreceptors).

But the trouble is catch-22. I can't eat to heal my nerves faster, I already lost 31 lbs. in 5 months.

One less relieving ( ty is believing )

The CO binds to the blood instead of oxygen. After eating, blood is redirected to the stomach. With that, the heart palpitates not just because of low blood pressure but also because of an even lower blood oxygen.

I just need to get rid of the gut bacteria I contracted from the dirty water that I couldn't kill before due to limiting dairy and having high vegetable and legume consumption, since increasing blood count and tending to low blood pressure comes first. Essentially feeding these belch-and-bloat machines.

Now that I can eat again ( after losing 47 lbs. ), I'm lysing it with milk and oatmeal.
