AGN TV has been offline for a few days now and I'm going crazy without it! The final parts for my PC dont arrive till Thursday and AGN TV is the only thing keeping me going till i FINALY return to PlanetSide. PLEASE put AGN TV back up! PLEASE Hamma reply with an ETA! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The SturmGrenadier is $12/year not a month. If SG was TR i would easily pay an extra $12/month to join them. I am one of the biggest PS fans ever and NO movie has ever moved me like the SG movie did. Now how can i bring my self to ditch TR for NC so i can join SG? :(

What age are you and your friends? I'm 18 years old and tend to be fairly mature for my age so i dont think that would be a problem. Also, IMHO, i feel i am a fantastic FPS player and pretty good with just about all certs in PS. They must take me in, they MUST!!!

Running an online gaming team IS free, get a board at ezboard or host it on your home DSL/cable using phpboard, that is free.

You provide something that is not free Hamma, the content and specificly the amount of people you have far exceed what you could host at your home.

And why are you hosting their video for free!? Have them host it, they have what, 1,000 members? With $12,000 a year they can host it. Or have them donate!

How much do your users pay you Hamma? I haven't got my "Planetside-Universe" bill this month.

I am repulsed to be associated with them by being in the same GAME as an outfit that charges member from it's members.

Thats the reason I think it is ludicrous to charge for a guild! I been playing games online ever since the BBS days, what was that, 15-20 years ago? I have been in 20 or more guilds, and you know what was common with them all? They all had a forum, wether it be a BBS on a spare computer, a free forum, or a cheap forum such as http://eol.rbcb.net which is about $10 a month. $10 a month for unlimited bandwidth and a great board system.

How much have I payed for guilds? About $75 in the past 20 years, if I know a site costs the people money I donate one month's payment for every 12 months I am in the guild.

"Now wait Squick" you are saying. Why yes, I DO have no problem with paying for the hosting of a guild's site when I know for a fact it is costing the leader X amount per month. But I DO have a problem donating when those fees are not disclosed, and the amount payed looks to be grossly less then what is payed; and most importantly I have a problem when those fees are stated as a "subscription" and required.

If hosting a guild can be a profitable endeavor for the leaders, more power to them. However I truely pitty the people that grovell at the knees of these extortionists begging to pay them.

Honestly, why do you care? I mean, SG appears to be MUCH more organized than just about anyone I have seen. I figure thats worth a dollar a month if you are into that sort of thing and if your not, no one is forcing you to pay. Just find an outfit that is more of your liking. I dont imagine the members of SG feel like slaves spending money they cant afford and getting nothing in return or they would quit. Nobody is holding a gun to your head and SG isnt the only organized outfit to choose from either.

I personally wouldnt want to spend money to an outfit but there were times in my EQ career where I have spent real cash to help out Guild sites because I wanted to contribute.
