I'm having a blast. 75th Ranger Regiment also has 4 squads that compete heavily in various divisons of TWL's AA ladders. 4-6 hours of gaming daily for me on AA. It's great.

I sucked hardcore too. I started out, and dropped to 8 honor from ROE. Then i kept playing, and it's arguably the funnest game i've ever played.

Squeeks - is it a good outfit? I'm looking to join one but so far haven't found any that I really liked. I usually play an hour or two a night. The game is not easy - but it is phenomenal.

My Mod setup is exactly the same as yours.

I have AA too but never got into it much, i don't know how to get my honor up and I can barely ever get into a server because you have to login and all the AA servers are craptacular.

I get an average of about 10 to 12 kills on SF hospital... sometimes less depends on my mood really... record is 23 kills in 6 rounds on SF hospital with the AK that has a scope :brow:.

I hate Tk'ers the most.

Just one more question... How much downtime is there. As in, if you are like me and get killed within two seconds of the start of a round; do I have to wait for ten minutes like in CS? Or is there a delay, then you can respawn?

Rounds can run anywhere from 2-10 minutes. Depends on the map and the players, i once played a 60 minute match (match is 7 rounds) because each time it took atleast 8-9 minutes.

I run it on "Ultralow" graphic settings and i get around 15-30 FPS. It takes a good rig to run smoothly, still one hell of a fun game.

I run it on ultra high and get about the same fps... But sometimes I have frame rate problems cause of the lag :ugh:.

I downloaded it and ran through most of the training, the medic one was hella boring, expecially when I went to the bathroom during the control bleeding and answered two of the questions wrong then failed :)

Also the stealth op one is driving me insane... Crawling around a city-sized area on your belly sucks.

I am guessing I need to finish that to do the advanced marksman training, right? The last spec ops and the two advanced marksman trainings are the last ones I have not done.

Were you able to do this? It seems that even in zoomed mode while standing it seems almost random whether it hits or not.

What does passing adv marksman give you? I have not played online yet, so I don't know what the training gives you.

Bleh! I deleted this game. Its more waiting than playing. Plus its not friendly to new players. All the servers now are pretty much for Special Ops. People who haven't reached that level yet are gonna have a hard time finding a server to play on.

Alot of games aren't noobie friendly, don't giveup on a game because of a learning curve.

You don't have to be SF Qualified to play on SF Maps. You can grab an IF slot and play with an AK74. That's what i did until i was high enough honor to play with an SF weapon.

If you have a hard time finding a server to play on, take your filter off SF Pipeline :rofl:.

I have a question... I was gona try online last night, so I clicked Deployment, then refresh, and it just sat there at "Connecting to Andromeda..." I messed with my firewall to make sure that was not causing the problem, and it is not.

Any clue what causes that?
