Ok, my comp's being weird. Whenever I try and use a voice application like teamspeak or Microsoft instant messenger, the person on the other end can't hear me, but I get this horrid feed back. It sounds like distortion from a guitar, but it's definately pulsating, I'd say 3 beats a minute, and it gets progressively louder. When I use voice activated, it just does not work at all. When I use push to talk, I get the feedback. WTF.

I have an Asus A7N9X del amd 2700 and am using the onboard sound.

Anyone have any clues? I can't use Teamspeak at all now.

Holy no shit?! Typo. :D

Anyway, here's the update page http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=A7N8X%20Deluxe&Type=Latest but there's nothing that relates to this, and as far as I can tell the mb's all the way updated.

Anyone have any ideas?

It worked fine a couple weeks ago, and I haven't changed anything at all. I really like the quality of the onboard sound and don't feel like getting a sound card.

did you install the the driver anyway? Sometimes driver files can get copurted, also make sure your not putting out the mic on the speakers becauase that would cause feedback

No I didn't install anything off of that page. I'm not even sure what of that I would need.

What do you mean about the "mic on the speakers"? You mean in the speaker output? No it's not in there.
