Not bad, this is probably some good news to all the people that want the caverns more populated.
Cool, although I still don't think that is going to make for a huge increase in cavern populations. If anything, isn't it going to make modules more scarce than they already are?

Beta CC Battles were AWESOME! no doubt about it, anything that makes it like CC beta is fine by my stardards. Alot of people dont have CC, give it away for free devs :brow:, Very Good list i cant wait to see all of these in game. :clap:

This is more of what CC needs to be relevant. There has to be a reason to hold the Caverns, or people there to fight in order to draw people there. You won't get the latter unless you have a reason to be there when no one else is. I still think they should have the two warps per continent, so that surface battles spill into the caverns. North and South and East and West gates should take both the geowarps on one continent. Also, I have no idea why they only allow two caverns to be open at one time. There should be more, but not all of them. After all, if all of the caverns were open, there wouldn't be enough geowarps on the whole planet to connect to. 3 or 4 open at one time seems like a reasonable number to me.
Just my two cents. I could be wrong you know, and this idea might suck and I wouldn't know it. I just want to help bring the fighting back to the caverns, like in the beta. It was only a weekend (of play, didn't get the email for a bit, and I was in the expanded beta), but it was great.

CC battles were designed to be HUGE there are soo many opertunities, but sadly there is barly anyone down there, but with this the caverns should have some luck
Byblos is the best, it was designed the best, has cool colors, music(lol), and there are the most crystals down there(weaapon recharge armor repair, health)

eh, i could care less about the new stuff for CC, I WANT XP FOR BASE CAPS. I could get all the mods into all those linked bases before all 6 hacks are done. And if only one friendly bases is linked? 60 minutes for one set of mods? Nah.
Oh but I would like something like towers in the caverns, it pisses me off when I just come in with a Reaver, land, then get my ass blown off by some cloaker, and got one where to spawn.
But crap are they going to release this all at once? It'll take me like 2 days to d/l everything with 56k :doh:

I don't have then entire list of new things, I'm at work and can't get to official forums. I don't know if this will fix CC or not. It may. I do know with what hamma cut and pasted on the PSU News has only two ways to go. 1 It makes CC better and more peeps are down in the caves. 2 it kills it all together. I do see the later in that if not many peeps want to head down there now what is to make them want to head down later. Plus with the links coming in from so many different conts you never know who will have hacks on all the buildings. If you hack them to get mods; in the time it takes you to get a mod charge it and back to a surface base, another empire has come in and rehacked everything. So it may be a waste. I do hate the fact that if i head doe there and die before a cave building is hacked I have to respawn at sanc to get out. At least move me back to a surface base on the cont I came from.

They're gonna have places to respawn near the geowarps. They'll come in handy when you have no facilities or redoubts. Also, they need to put some experience in the caverns. Otherwise, the CR hungry commanders may just say, "who cares about the caves? I'm not gonna get CEP for it". We already have that problem with defending facilities on the surface.

Exactly! Currently it's a BEP only zone and even that is skimpy as the caverns are mostly empty... It's usually just you and a few deployables someone left down there... if SL's got CEP then whole squads would start showing up rather then just a few lone wolves and the occasional module raiding party with a driver and module runner(s). The lone wolves may stick around for a battle or two, but the raiding party is goal oriented and planning to grab a few key modules, charge them, and head out ASAP. They are far more worried about the surface battle and module benefits then worrying about the caverns and any skirmish down there.

Just what we need, more "random" things in the caverns. They are already confusing enough as it is. I bought CC because they billed it as "Urban" warfare. I expected something like sewer systems and tunnels underneath and between the bases. Then yes, everyone would want CC, so they too could use these alternate highways. If you could attack a base through the sewer, then that gives another entry point, another point for defense, more desire to have the CC expansion pack. All I get now are a confusing web of zip lines, etc.
I do like the idea of owning everything in the caverns, giving all linked bases all module benefits.
