Video Details: 3 Kids at night in a street somewhere. One holding camera, one pouring, and one holding a bottle. They are mixing Alchohol+Chlorine, which is a incredibly deadly mixture. If that's not bad enough, the kid shakes the bottle, after about 3 1/2 seconds of shaking the bottle explodes knocking the camera man to the ground. It might not look like a bad explosion, but watch the camera fall to the ground and listen to how fucking loud it is. I would be surprised if the kid survived, either 1) the concussion killed him (shaking near your face is retarded) or 2) the deadly fumes killed him and his friend. Fucking STUPID kids.

And another fun thing you can do is get a 2L plastic bottle, fill the bottom with several cups of water. Then take a large paper clip and make it into a pin with a hearty loop, hook a very long string through the loop, then push your new pin through the bottle, it should make a pin that will slip out easily, but hold your next step up.

Now take an index card and cut it into a circle the same size as your bottle's width right where the pin is, leave a small tab onto one side, tape the tab to the inside of the bottle and set the paper on top of the pin. When the pin is pulled anything on top of your card should fall into the water.

Now shred a bunch of aluminum foil, the more the better, but make sure everything will drop. Then on top of that put a lot of drain-o, they say one tablespoon, but I usually use about 10. Cap the whole thing very tightly, but be very careful.

Now go back at least 20 feet, and preferably behind something solid, pull the string and the foil and draino should drop into the water. After a few seconds you should start to get some fogging of the bottle, then in less then 30 seconds you will get a gigantic BOOM.

Disclaimer: Drain-O contains lye, the ingrediant that makes this work... If you get lye in your eye you are going to go blind.

Well I'm not quite as dumb as them, I'm sure I could rig something to mix and shake them from a little bit further then my finger tips ;)

But more I am just curious what it makes, I am pretty sure the alumnium and draino mix to form hydrogen gas. Then since Mr. Moor states that if volume remains constant, temperature raises proportantly to pressure; I think it creates enough temperature to cause the hydrogen to react with oxygen to create lots of energy, and water.

It is a very delicate mixture, too much water and not enough draino will not do squat. No one that is not really wanting to get this to blow up will be able to figure out the right proportions. And if you do it the way I said you could be very far away before the mixture ever happens.

As long as people don't use something like high pressure PVC pipes and get the mixure perfect to make enough pressure to create tens of thousands of pounds of pressure I doubt anyone will kill themselves.

Exept the fact that this isn't dry ice and the toxic fumes could blind you or cause you to stop breathing. Or the fact that if you watch it frame by frame the mixture explodes when the bottle is about 4 inches from his face, and if it knocked the camera guy over it had to have done a HELL of a lot of damage to that kids dome.

I didn't say it was a dry ice bomb, I said it wasn't any worse than the blast from a dry ice bomb. The fumes suck, but they wouldn't blind you most likely (they could, but you instinctively close your eyes and freeze up when shit blows up). I bet he dropped the camera because he was shocked, not because it knocked him over. I've had dry ice bombs go off in my hand, and while it sucked, I was ok (couldn't write for a while).

On a related note, I've made a hydryochloric acid bomb that took out about 3 inches of asphalt before. I've made Napalm out of OJ concentrate, spraypaint, and styrofoam that kept a sidewalk on fire for over a half hour. Oooh, last 4th of july I caught my hand on fire from an artillery shell (the firework). I've had my shoulder of my shirt burned off before because of gun powder that didn't quite explode, but send the canister overhead, giving us a nice gunpowder shower. :D
