This happened to me, and half the people in that TR base. There was no warning, just the usual recent lag. Pulled out mt tool and began to repair one of my squadies and boom.
Pressing "ok" crashed the game to desktop.

Weird, lately i havn't CTD at all, i remember when i did multiple times a day and even had to reset, i havn't done that once in weeks! Its running stable as hell, compared to before, although i noticed some server lag, with opening doors, and the connection problem box come up occasionally

I haven't crashed in a month. Must be a fluke or something.
That something from Windows and not Planetside. So probably was caused by Planetside but you can't say Planetside is unstable because of a Window's error.

It must be your computer. I haven't crashed to desktop since the first month of retail and some of my play sessions have been very, very long and yet uninterrupted.
Planetside is as stable as any Windows-based game can be.

It had to have been the evil windows can't live with it can't live without it. Oh wait you can download wine for linux to try and run it but wine isn't fully compatable with all games yet.

games need directX, you might be talking about WineX which supports around 30 games and costs monthly...

After that last update they mentioned that they fixed certain client side crashes. The last few weeks my system has been pretty stable. But after the update I crashed no less than 4 times within 2 days. Ironic huh?
