Unfortunately, the yahoo headline won't come up. Have the hackers taken it down?

Does anyone have a low-profile tech site with news on this?

Just use Windows Update, and only that to get your updates for windows. And hope you don't use a cracked version of Windows, because I would have to imagine it sends your serial number with your request for patches :)
