What are you talking about? The uniempire max? If you mean the unimax cert it is so you can get all the MAX.
Forcing three way fights is lame. Three ways are like punishment for not being as aware of hacks as you should be, so sony is really kicking our asses with this one... *grumble*

3 ways generally suck for the defending empire since it's rare for the 2 invading empires to square off until the home empire has had their forces split and driven back to their home gate bases. Forces are divided and battles usually becoming long and drawn out.
Yay, more pop-locks. No wait, that's a bad thing.

More pop-locks is a good thing. There will be more battles to choose from.

Sure it puts the defending empire at a disadvantage if they are double teamed. But what is the fun in overunning a continent? I never understand why both NC and VS often go after ISH at the same time. Why dont they just attack one and other rather than trying to get the same continent.
Ultimatly it means you will be able to fight off the zerg, instead of fighting a slow losing battle.
I think it will also mean more instances where there is a juicy fight somewhere that you just can't get to cause the pop-locks will happen sooner and keep you from getting there. I hate it when I get stuck sitting in a warpgate just hoping to get to in sometime.

The ultimate problem lies in the short HART timer. It's much easier to drop on an unlocked continent, even if you have no bases, then organize and go through a gate into a locked one.
Remove the HART or put it up to every half hour and your three way battles problem is solved.
edit: Three way battles will happen on any continent that isn't locked, whether it be TR, VS, or NC.

Granted Pop-Locks will stop you from joining a fight....but, this means people will be forced onto other continents. Which will create more battles...and really bring about some global warfare...not just war torn ish.

yes i agree the incredibly fast hart riuns that need for transportation becasue its faster to recall and hart than take a vech on some conts. I think the timer should be atleast 15 if not 20 minutes

I like the new pop lock specifications. 3 way battles are not something new here... what will be new is one empire wont have 50% of the total pop, another 40%,and the last 10%... usually the 10% empire hits the easier target (the 40% empire)... remember capping a base gets you CEP... getting slaughtered by a horde does not.
Also for a 2 way battle the zerging armies will be 20% smaller... less lag... more fun... :)

This rules. I hope more cont's get pop locked, finally be able to spread battles out accross the world and that is a great thing. Hopefully we will finally start getting some great battle on Ceryshen (spelling?) instead on always fighting on the shit hole that is Cyssor.

cyssor is sweet, its ish and amerish that suck, though for some reason those are almost always were we have to go, and we NEVER ever win on amerish when there is a big opfor

Well I'll agree, but Cyssor, Ish, and Amerish all are overplayed. Will be nice to be able to branch out a bit to "Less Popular" cont's.
