I think they should for two reasons. first of all because a bunch of drunk teenagers proved they do and called AXN to show it.
mainly it's because ATV's blow up after one mine. good luck crossing a bridge with 10 mines on it. I know some people say the wraith would be undetectable, but remmember it leaves a trail in the water.

Yeah, real ATV's do float, but not in the god damn ocean lol. If you sit on one it wont though unless your tires are super inflated.

How about we make everything float? And we can make everything a Beamer too?
Quite simple, should ATVs float? No.
Switchblade "floats"
There aren't really many uses for water travel though, since except for the few odd island bases there is no tactical benefit.

I say give em a armor upgrade so they can take at least one mine with no shields and still survive, if only by a sliver of health.

Yeah I agree with that... I loved my Wraith until the day I discovered a single mine can kill me... Um, walking is not so bad after all :) Oh and a single decimator can kill you too... I had my deci out ready to fight a MAX when I saw an enemy basalisk pull up near me and stop... *BOOM* one hit... The ironic thing is that if he had gotten off the bike and taken the deci to the face he would have lived... lol

the ATV's need a tad more armor, thats why i gave it up, its extremely hard to see a mine field and ATV's don't stop that fast so yout first warning is the boom form a mine, then you hit another right away, that was before it took one hit. Give them enough to survive a mine atleast, or let them not trigger them. Also a bit more torque is in order

Drive an unshielded basilisk over a mine... It should survive with a tiny bit of health left.
Drive a fully shielded basilisk over a mine and it will blow up...

I somehow doubt that. and anyway, there are no fully shielded or even fully green ATV's unless some 80 yr old with heart problems is driving them. ATV is made for driving like a maniac.
